How good is Thunderlord
Just wondering as I would like to get this weapon soon.

It kicks like a mule without the stability upgrade and the 38 round magazine is kinda disappointing.

If you're trying to blow up a single target quickly, gjallarhorn wins. Thunderlord over a period of time is capable of doing much more damage.

You know that scene in Saving Private Ryan during the end battle? There were like 4 Americans standing on a German tank getting ready to open the hatch and throw a grenade in just before they got literally torn to shreds by a 20mm machine gun? It's like that

It's prolly really good in pvp but I think it's not worth it; majority of the game ur using ur primary or special;rarely;. I would rather use my vex or suros as a exotic then thunder lord

1 RespuestaI've never used mine. They need to make a machine gun that's really OP. It can compete with Gjallarhorn in damage in the same about of time. Sure thunderlord can have more damage but it will take 2 minutes to put all those rounds into something when Gjallarhorn takes 10 seconds

I think the potential of Thunderlord is underrated. let's do some simple math let's take hunger of crota rocket launcher( it's comparable to g horn but I dunno the mag size). it gets 6 rockets and it does about 4500 damage a shot which is reasonable damage thst 4500 times 6 is 27000 damage. now we look at thunderlord. without field scout it will hold 131 rounds. at max 331 thunderlord if it were to hot a crit would do about 1k damage which is reasonable with all crits that's 131 times 1k which is 131000 damage way more than hunger of crota and I dont see g horn making up 100k damage. not saying g horn is worse than TL but that machine gun can do big damage.

Got thunderlord from crucible and it wrecks in pvp when upgraded
