In a world of Icebreakers, I still love my Patience and Time...what's yours?
I am not at all hating on Icebreaker. I'm glad Xur is selling it so many people can use it. It's legacy is well known and deserved. Enjoy it Christmas Destiny players.
I have to say though that in a world of obsessive Icebreaker owners, I'm putting a little love note out there for my Patience and Time. It's such a fantastic gun that doesn't get its due. Yeah, it doesn't have that cool regenerative ammo thing that his brother has, but boy can he fire fast and he keeps exceptionally calm in all situations. Unloading 12 shots into Atheon during Times Vengenance can be underrated when other snipers might only get 7-10. While not special for the Hunter, we Warlocks can enjoy 10 beautiful seconds of cloaking and usually can get a few shots off before the enemy begins to focus on us. 3rd eye can be a handy perk too in PvP. Throwing in arc damage and Patience and Time has been my goto exotic through thick and thin.
So, what's your exotic that doesn't get a lot of limelight on here but you feel is one of the best? (you can't say G-horn, Icebreaker, or SUROS since those are constantly talked about :) )
EDIT 1: I was told to add Vex and Thorn to the list of those who get plenty of limelight as it is :) Have to agree.

1 RespuestaTruth rocket launcher cops a fair bit of flak. It was the first exotic I got, from a random drop in crucible on my third week for release. It was also the only exotic I had for quite a while. It's damage is definitely lower than the ghallerhorn but it's tracking is incredible and it still hits hard. 3 in the tube since the buff and you can unleash havoc. The other main problem with it is people complaining about it taking up an exotic spot, through I usually only pull it out when it needs to be used. Most launchers are situational and if not needed, then don't have them out, problem solved :) Oh and that blast radius is on another level, clears the masses!! If you made it this far..... I use my Icebreaker to fuel my Black Hammer :)

The multi tool is all I need as exotics go I've used most of them and keep going back to that awesome scout rifle it's great for every situation

Revenge and black hammer still are my go-tos. And I have both breaker and p&t.

I like both the Ice Breaker and Patience and Time, both really good items if used right

I swap back and forth between the two, as well as my LDR when I wanna use an exotic primary

I love patience and time too. Icebreaker is great -I got it a long time ago but i think p and t is a beast and under rated !

I love my black hammer it serves it's purpose but so does my patience and time and icebreaker. This week's arc burn nightfall patience and time was ridiculous

Id say the plan c. It was my first exotic weapon and It helped me get all the exotics I have now. Definitely a great fusion rifle. That charge rate after switching is amazing

I have P&T too - great stability,but impact for me is too low. So far my best sniper is my longbow. Got it as random drop whit armor piercing and final round and i feel that this sniper is best i ever had Oh yea - i can add that i still like to try BH

1 RespuestaI think patience is a piece of crap. To everyone who says it's not, this is my opinion. Here's why, it takes a valuable exotic slot which can be a problem for much superior weapons in pvp like suros or vex or thunder lord. Same situation for pve, u wont be able to use the same weapons as above plus ice breaker or ghorn. Yes the stability is amazing, but I believe this to be a 1.0 gun while the 2.0 is bh. which is superior in every aspect for atheon and other bosses.

3 RespuestasPocket infinity. Full auto with mulligan and perfect balance makes taking out thrall a breeze. Up close in PvP doesnt get much better. I remember when it had eight in the mag and was a beast. Even three with perfect balance is amazing. Without perfect balance enabled it's stability is hard to manage(but you do get five rounds) that would be my only gripe. Definitely an under used exotic these days.
