WTF is wrong with people when fighting atheon?
It's like people have turned into retards since Crota has arrived.
Just been in 2 Groups with people running around like headless chickens.
Extra people running through the potal to help out which isn't needed because I never even saw this happen until 2 or 3 weeks ago. If the 2 people without the relic can't handle the oracles you shouldn't be in the raid.
People constantly getting blown up outside from supplicants.
I picked the shield up once and the 2 people couldn't even get the third oracle down.
Americans/Canadians are the only ones I actually feel confident with completing the raids and I'm British.
Iv just done the Crota raid twice and only wiped like twice all the way through.

52 RespuestasDid VOG last night , last minute, and didn't bring VOG weapons. Group was at Atheon. My maxed 331 weapons couldn't kill the oracles fast enough and we wipe a few times because of it. At least three other players didn't have VOG weapons, and the one guy who did didn't have it fully upgraded. One player quit and one of my friends jumped in with Atheons Epilogue. He was able to kill the oracles twice as fast as I could. Wasn't even maxed, just to the point where the perk was unlocked. Opened my eyes. Killed Atheon in two teleports. Your VOG weapons are the best choice for doing the VOG, hands down. Oracle Disruptor perk outperforms 331 weapons.

1 Respuestasending one person through the portal to help out with the oracles for a group I run with is mandatory. We don't need three people shooting suplicants. Better make use of them and shoot the oracles. It makes the battle go by quicker. Thats why it is done and if the people you are with cannot kill the oracles then maybe thats why people where going through.

Today I've played vog again and I haven't played since CE release. It was a debacle, but the worst was this guy using a fusion rifle on atheon -.- I mean seriously...

1 RespuestaI've noticed this also. I think people believe that 331 guns are better but in actuality, the extra oracle damage is really important. Maybe I'm wrong I don't know the damage differences.

2 RespuestasNew people are bypassing the raid but want the vex. So they all try the hard raid Aethon cp. They don't know want they are doing. And for the record on hard mode my group always sent someone into Venus to help out.

1 RespuestaWe were running it on hard the other day when the last two oracles popped up I gave the last cleanse and headed to the middle, pretty standard til the guys in the portal abandoned the oracles and followed me out. Explained that they stay kill the last 2 oracles then go middle, next teleport one of the guys does the same thing again

The tower gear light level should have been left alone so to hit lvl 30 you had to do vog just like pre dlc. Basically the path to ce should be through the vog hard...and the path to vog hard should be through vog normal...Now guys buy some tower gear, hit 31 and see that vog is 30 so they figure they can do it...I would too if I were a new player..not their fault it's a game design flaw IMO. I mean seriously I was in a group of 31s one time and half of them hadn't even done vog, and they were trying to LEARN IN HARD MODE and couldn't get through a single portal phase. I had to politely suggest to them going to normal and learning, which was also kind of a challenge but doable. It used to be if you had a team of 30s in hard you knew it would be a breeze. Now with a team of 31s and 32s you just don't even know. Smh. It's such a mess I honestly went through my friends list and cut 60 some people from it. Got tired of not being able to play crucible or whatever for 5 mins to get in groups that think theyre good and can yap all day long about weapons etc but are actually terrible and don't listen.

Last week we exited our third bubble n aetheon was near done. We all jump out. The three of us die to exploding supplicants near simultaneously and none of them where there till we hit the ground. Vog bugs have been bad lately. Lot of glitchy craziness

I don't mind helping people out if they listen or can think for themselves, but it can get tiring. Edit: those supplicants can sneak up on anyone every now and then lol

For VoG, I usually just ask when I'm outside, as it's better to ask if the team inside is having trouble, especially with Venus side due to Pretorian.

Well done!!! I ran the raid today and completed it in 38 minutes with zero wipes and do you know what the key was?! Zero cry babies like you and team work! Just remember you were a noob once!! Stop being a douche and try helping people out

3 RespuestasVoG actually required responsibility callouts and team work, while CE just requires icebreakers and gjallarhorns for knights and crotas shield, if it weren't for the level difference VoG would be much more difficult

Sometimes, actually scratch that, most of the time the vault of glass glitches. I will list safety measures my group utilizes: -help kill everything in Venus -have a defender drop a bubble at 2 seconds -relic holder must deploy cleanse before anyone jumps in middle -supplicants will be killed a few seconds before portal group exits -a fourth player has corrective measure primed to go into portals if a bug occurs. -when times vengeance is not active use radiance to hurt atheon -supers are saved for when being ported. Golden gun is especially useful -stand on pillars to open portals -don't bump the relic holder ever

Lol did atheon last night with a 31 and a 28 who had never done it before and it kept sending them through the portal. Atheon decided to make it easier on us though and killed the 28 on the 3rd try and we beat it lol.
