Christians believe an unfalsifiable claim about reality which they use to justify their attempts to live now for a supposed next life and Atheists believe an equally unfalsifiable claim about reality which they use to justify their attempts to enjoy now what they suppose is their only life. Both atheists and Christians can be spurred to viciousness if they feel their baseless beliefs are being challenged. Even though I t's sad and pitiful to watch them fight, there's always hope for these sorts of people ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

While I am a christian, I see the whole debate turn into something like this. Both sides sit in their little forts throwing rocks at each other. What the rocks are foes not matter. The point is that both sides can be proven wrong on certain subjects, and they would still refuse to change their stances even a little. At this point, debate is pointless. Only 2 options remain. 1: Something huge happens that validates one belief over the other. 2: Someone leaves the guess n' test of science, builds a time machine, and goes and record the beginning of life first hand. Well, until one of those days come, I will be sitting one the side lines watching the fort battles. If you ask me what I believe, I'll tell you, but no debates because we both know what the result would be. (None of course).

I'm not a Christian, and I'm not an atheist. I'm a Muslim. And I go for… …Autism. It's much better than these stupid religion threads. I do believe in God, but I'm tired of seeing "God doesn't exist, we're all monkeys" and "God exists, worship Jesus". Honestly, It's annoying.

1 RespuestaIt's a draw. Both sides run around in circles with the same old arguments as to why their side should win.

Religion and Atheism cause equal amounts of cringe. Religion maybe moreso due to some of the shit religious people do.

1 RespuestaChristian logic: PRAISE THE LAWD ALMIGHTY!!! atheist logic: don't believe that stranger at the podium. Believe me, the stranger on the internet.

1 RespuestaAtheists are not making a claim. We are just saying we want evidence for what we believe. Because we don't know exactly what happened does not make your religion any more justifiable

33 RespuestasIf God wasn't real than how was life made, did lightning Hit some pond and create it? Also if you guys believe in evolution if it was true where are all the people in between apes and humans like humanoid apes. Also your master atheist Steven hawking says the universe was created because it needed to! Wtf does that mean! The only reason atheist are around because their mom died and they are mad that their life isn't perfect. Well bad things happen and if the world was perfect there would be no reason for heaven. Just think about atheists.

Both have their argument but neither 100% is certain , let's just leave it at that (from an atheist who isn't biased )

I strongly believe in miracles. With that being said, I think there are things that exist in this universe that we can not perceive at this point in our evolution.

1 RespuestaJust wanna say, being Christian has nothing to do with believing in science. In fact the pope has said that evolution and the Big Bang had to have happened. Honestly it's a -blam!-ing stupid debate and doesn't matter either way

I am happily indifferent to pointless online arguments. Let people believe what they want and dont try and push your beliefs on others whatever they may be.

23 RespuestasI am a christian and i am currently going to school to be minister. I always say that it is better for someone to pursue truth for themselves rather than just believe because they grew up with that belief. I will not get offended if you don't believe what i believe however i can say that i believe that there is evidence for a creator. I believe it takes more faith to be an atheist than it does a christian because to believe that the world was not designed by a creator who is eternal, all powerful and transcends this world, would take a lot of faith. However I will not get mad at someone because they disagree with me because i would rather you tell me that you are an atheist because you pursued truth and looked at all of the evidence but i challenge you whether you are a christian, atheist, or any other "religion" to examine yourself and why you believe what you believe. Be objective and look at different beliefs. Don't disrespect someone either because of their beliefs no matter what their beliefs are. I hope this helps. God bless
