We all hate people who drop. Leaving us to finish a strike as two, or even solo. I was wondering why people do it. Let me know which of the above applies to you and whether you feel bad about it or not.
In the spirit of openness, I only ever drop out if somebody else does on either of the new strikes. They are both just tedious without a full team!
Edit: if other, or hate a strike - please specify
Edit2: I know j should have included "life gets in the way" as an option. AFKers can be considered as "others quit"
Edit3: a common reason seems to be the short window of opportunity to quit post strike (you can also "dismiss" while your ship is in orbit people)
Edit4: another good reason: someone invites you to a raid
Edit5: seems like people hate repeating strikes. Luckily, as more are added this should sort itself out...
Edit6: surprising number of votes for "speed runners", seems we have lots who like killing the weakest enemies en masse...
Edit7: if you are trying for bounties please go to a relevant story or patrol area. It's faster and you don't need to inconvenience others if you want to quit out once accomplished. Also, understand that you can pick individual strikes from the map if you need to complete a certain one!
Edit8: just learnt that you can quit out during loading by going to character change!

My pizza was done....

honestly the only time I quit strikes is when I'm completing bounties. A lot of times I'm jumping in just for a specific thing and once I get it I'm out but usually its pretty early on when that happens. Its not like doing the entire strike making it all the way to the boss and Bam splitting.

Ive srsly lost connection so many times. Bungie must hate me. Like srsly. Its not on my end.

I only quit when it's just me left or if it's the ninth time I've ran it in a row.

Editado por Moonglow89: 1/20/2015 11:14:14 PMI only quit if the random PUGs are being stupid. I don't mind newbies (24-26, under 75 hours), but some of these 31s being stupid makes me leave.

I've quit 3 strikes. 1, I was the only one doing the strike, two AFKers at spawn. 2, it was valus for the fifth straight time in tiger. 3, buddy needed a sixth for the vault (CE wasn't put yet).

17 RespuestasIf your not a speed runner you're a scrub. You have the mentality of a government employee. They send you a little job to do, shouldn't take long, instead you spend half the time doing shit that doesn't need to be done. Hope that next conversation with your boss goes ok. Hey boss gotta complain about the other employees, every time you give them a job they just rush right to the job and get it done without wasting a bunch of time on other stupid shit. I want a raise because I -blam!- off on shit that doesn't matter instead of helping with the job you gave us, but I did more pointless tedious labor.

Mars strikes take way too long sometimes. Especially the ps exclusive ones

1 RespuestaI'll quit if one player goes AFK. I refuse to carry a player that is not willing to play and do his part. Basically, I don't believe in people getting something for nothing. I was raised better than that.
