Day one level 26
I started day one and I've never had a exotic drop or ever completed a raid. I play a fair bit but like fu*k if I'm still getting blues and greens. Lots of whites. So it this RGN or I'm I doing something wrong. Cuz there are people who started on Xmass and are 32.
Edit: I would do the raid if someone would do it with me. Ps3

Edit: I know I've only logged 66 hours but I only log like 100 a year on my ps3.

1 RespuestaBe sure to buy armor and/or weapons with your marks, or else they will go to waste. Be sure to do the bounties, I know they suck, but they help your ranking (with factions) and enable you to get exotic bounties as well. Some of the 5000xp bounties are VERY easy to do, and only take a few minutes, so let me know if you want any tips or tricks, I have done ALL the bounties they've displayed since launch, so I can def help, so just let me know. Also, be sure to do the nightfalls AND the level 30 weekly as well - that will help you BIG TIME! And of course, if you can find people to do the raid with - do it! If you are on PS3 let me know, I may be able to help.

1 RespuestaYou won't get better gear from random drops. You need to rank up the Vanguard faction to rank 2 by turning in bounties and doing patrol missions. Then use the marks you get from doing strike lists and public events while patrolling to buy legendary gear. You will need to do daily missions for a chance to get ascendant shards needed to upgrade this armor. When you are lvl 30, you can start doing raids with a group for chances to get raid gear that can get you to lvl 32 once you have grinded enough radiant shards which you can only get from doing the raid. It will take quite a bit of time because you also need to collect and dismantel unneeded armor from drops to get base armor materials for your class. And if that wasn't enough, you need to build up a supply of glimmer and farm world materials needed for the upgrades. Don't listen to the scrubs who claim to accomplish this in a week. They create 3 guardians of the same class and delete one of their characters every day and recreate them to run raids everyday of the week. That requires playing 20 hrs a day, 7 days a week which is stupid. Just take your time and enjoy this wonderful game.

Well considering you can get 31 with tower gear now and up to 29 per dlc then you either barely play or are really really bad.

1 RespuestaBounties are necessary if you don't have a good team. I hit 29 the week before dlc, without doing VoG... was able to hit 31 from vanguard gear no problem.... Levelling your cryptarch/vanguard rank easiest way to get lucky drops but you gotta do the grind if you can't do the raid

1 RespuestaIt's not RNG. Weekly heroics on level 30 mode will get you 9 coins. Save up coins. Buy exotics from Xur. Increase level. Easy. After that, get good weapons from vendors, and find raid groups. Then do nightfall. Do all this and you could be level 30+ in 2-3 weeks.

1 RespuestaThe higher level you are the better rewards you will get. To get to a higher level you HAVE TO do VOG. Period. Destinylfg.net. The destiny community is way nicer than the forums will lead you to believe. Also doing the daily every day will help, but it will take a while, and you aren't really high enough to do that at 30 difficulty anyway. If you buy tower gear (the easy way out) you will still need shards and energy from VOG to rank up. I feel like 80% of people think the raids are the best part of the game and I'm one of them. Do the raid.

After that you will start getting packages from the postmaster that could contain legendary gear along with a commendations that you can use to purchase vanguard weapons and armor.

The real grind is between 31 and 32. Literally takes weeks. And I highly recommend bounties. You'll beat yourself up if you don't. This game is a repetitive grind. If you don't like that type of thing then this may not be for you. But I enjoy it cause I've played more grindy games and I like being top level with best gear. A competition.

2 RespuestasHow long do play destiny each day lol your definitly doing something wrong if your only lvl 27 im from day one of the game nd have a 31 hunter 31 titan and 30 warlock and I'm not the luckiest person when it comes to drops and I've only had 1 of each class
