If we were given a choice to ally an enemy, who would it be and why?

From a tactical standpoint, I would only forge an alliance with the Cabal, and maybe, just maybe, with the Fallen. Why? Because the Cabal are soldiers and mercenaries. They look to expand territory, but they aren't obsessed with universe domination. Allying yourself to the Hive and especially the Vex is completely out of question. How can you trust a force who's sole purpose is to turn every planet and everything living in that planet into souless machines? If you could control the Vex, however, it would be a totally different story.

Cool story bro, I'll just destroy the planet." Vex and travel across star systems. That. Is. FAR AS HELL. Fallen are strategist. Hive, well, they have a god and a demi god. Or..had a demi god. Still, Oryx is alive. That's probably gg if you piss him off. Cons Cabal are driven by pure force and strength, they rely on both to get anything done. This can be both good and bad. Bad because when you think you have all the power, you can do anything. That's not always true. Vex, if you shut down their network,. They're gone. Find that source and gg. Fallen, kill their Archons and they'll scatter. Like ants. And maybe they'll want you as their next Archon. The Queen is one, so why not you? HIve, well..they have a god sure. But even Zeus was killed by a mortal. (God of War) This was typed and thought out really fast so there's not a lot of detail. I also thought of them as I went lol. Just my opinion too.

7 RespuestasI think realistically it would be the Fallen. It's proven they can "ally" with other species (The Reef) and I get the feeling that they just go with the strongest option. If the darkness proves weaker, they may switch to the light. In terms of helpfulness, I think the Vex would take it. Time travel, teleportation, being interconnected machines, it all seems very tactically advantageous.

3 RespuestasIf we had a choice, I'd say it would be the vex, come on, time travel, ability to move trrops across vast distances in an instant. Now ask me which is most likely, I'd say the Fallen everytime. Why, cause if you look at the lore and such, it looks like they were once a noble race, quite advanced and such. My guess is they fought the darkness, and lost, surrendering in the end and becoming the scavengers they are now. If the winds started to shift and it looked like the darkness was the loosing side, then the fallen would likely jump ship in a heartbeat. The Vex seem to worship the darkness, as do the hive, they would be the least likely to convert. And the Cabal seem to love war, and only care about expanding their empire, they'd be unlikely to jump ship.

The Hive are barbaric and probably would not work well with you. The fallen do have houses and are a little more organized but they too seem a little barbaric. The vex are the most sophisticated and have time travel but they don't really have any strong units except minatours. The cabal are just bad ass and thier whole culture is war. And at war time what a better ally to have

1 RespuestaI voted Fallen simply because they seem by far the most likely to form an alliance. Hive are too driven by their Gods and rituals, Vex are solely focused on controlling time and space, And Cabal are focused on invading and conquering.

Easily the vex, just time travel with them, kill the enemies when they dont expect it before any battles happen, too easy
