Husk of the Pit
I've recently started to farm for the husk of the pit and after doing the fist of crota mission repeatedly for around 4 hours, have started to wonder how long it took for other people to get it.

I started a fresh character and on the second mission on earth I just killed for xp until the sword ritual started. Got the husk from the first one. Perhaps luck or maybe low level characters have a better shot because they get mostly white drops.

Got it my 7th deliberate attempt when it first was released. And now a second one just a minute ago farming for an Eris Bounty

I have got it randomly twice , both times on patrol on earth. Different characters , one for each.

I didn't farm consecutively for hours because I figured it would drive me crazy. Instead I completed Eris' bounties daily (Always seems to be 'a kill blades of crota' or 'kill hive with blade of crota' bounty). Got the husk around Christmas. YMMV

I got it on earth as random drop. Its really no goodcat this point maxed out. As a collector I get it, but my advice is, by the time the hard raid is out you will have several. Much better things to grind.

Been lucky twice just hitting the Blades of Crota on earth while doing patrols .

I have one on all three of my characters and they all happened randomly with no farming or serious intent on my part. The first one I got was on the first Blade I killed after it was available. The best thing to do is simply do patrols of the cosmodrome and moon and make sure to kill Blades if they happen to appear. It'll drop eventually.

Skywatch on earth is the best place to get it. That's my opinion tho. I got mine from the second blade of crota I killed. I have gotten 4 more since then.

Got 3 so far just doing patrols and taking out blades if I see them. 2x earth 1x moon.

Took me about 20+ tries with my hunter about 5 with my warlock and just got another one the other day

I've farmed for hours on earth and moon...and got zilch. I've given up, screw it. RNG sucks

Still haven't gotten it. Almost rank 4 eris. Farmed it for a while. I quit. Tired of this awful RNG. And I play Diablo.. so this shit is through the roof awful.

I was not trying for it just doing the kill sword of crota missions on earth and it dropped on the 3rd one. Now they drop almost daily

2 RespuestasNot to brag, but got it on first try on first Fist of Crota mission. Getting hive kills to lvl it up is a pain.

I got mine (all 5) on the earth just killing knight and in the moon during rituals.

I've gotten both of mine while doing the "kill give knights on the earth" quest

I have got 2 in probably of a total of 20 minutes I guess that's what happens when you don't obsess over it just play the game and it will drop that's what happened to me

Don't grind for it, just play the game, do eris bounties. Have fun doing other things and it will drop in time

I didn't try to farm it and got it 6 times so far one day I got it 3 times in less than 20 minutes

it took me 6 tries.....I got 2. One in the bank and I will equip the other if you dont believe me. I didnt try for the second one. I was completing a bounty and got it on accident lol

wasnt trying was waiting for fireteam members to join raid team while me and friend were patrolling...he killed the blade I got the husk. This game really does recognize true skilled playas like me ;)
