Do you guys think that our dreams harbour inner messages that we should be heading and taking notice of? Or do you think it's just random dribble? What's your opinion on dreaming and what it means?

It depends on the dream, obviously some dreams are pure imagination and creativity.

2 RespuestasTheir are many theories as to describe the purpose of dreams. You are probably thinking along the lines of the fulfillment of subconscious desires, or actual desires.

Nothing just the brains processing information and your subconscious at work in the back ground. Like why one day u do something and u get a night sleep and the next day somehow u can do that thing a little better somehow
-
Both, boy! Dreams are incredibly potent meaningless nonsense; pay attention to them ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It's definitely inner thoughts I know because my dreams are presented the same way I present things: no bullshit its just straight to the point most of the time "Bro, you're having trouble doing *this thing*"
-
It's probably your brain scanning the input you took in that day and developing connections between them
-
It's thoughts "left over" in our subconscious or something like that
-
A dream is a thought or memory of reality, a dream May last up to 2 seconds ( no lie! )
-
Most dreams are just wildly exaggerated reviews of what the brain experienced that day; some, although, can hold extremely personal significance and affect someone intuitively. Sometimes that talking banana dragon represents something more than a talking banana dragon.

Editado por Lance: 1/2/2015 4:38:45 PMThere's probably something I learned about this in my Psych class this past year, but I wasn't paying attention. Something along the lines of dreams are the product of associative memory, linking our day-day experiences with other stuff and blah, blah, blah.
