So the Exclusive Content is Hurting the PS4 Players too
Don't want to start a console war, I own both but play Destiny on XB1 as I prefer the controller for FPS.
But it seems that PS4 players are missing out too, by not having their exclusive strikes available in the Weekly/Nightfall rotation.
I was always ok with PS4 getting extra Weapons and Shaders, but the exclusive strikes would have been a welcome addition to the rotation for both sets of players.
It's also looking like the the DLC Omnigul strike is going to crop up more often than the others right now, so the new Venus strike being available to everyone would have mixed it up a bit.
[b]EDIT:[/b] My point is not that PS4 players should have the exclusive strikes on the Weekly Nightfall rotation, but that the whole exclusive strike idea hasn't worked out well for anyone.

I'm SO happy there's no nightfall dust palace. Hate that -blam!-ing strike. Undying mind would be interesting.

The Undying Mind, while not hard, is just very tedious with the bullet-sponge VOG Vex in there. They take forever to drop. Coupled with how much spawn during the midsection, its just complete overkill. The basest form of Artificial Difficulty inside the game. And you want that as a Nightfall with even more shielded and yellow barred enemies?

1 RespuestaFlyers isn't hard...but unless you have 3 people that have done the fight before it can be very, very irritating to get 3 people on the same target assuming you go into Playlist by yourself. With friends though, it's great. However...undying mind takes literally double the time of most strikes ( the avg original strike takes 8-12 mins while undying mind is (15-25). The single most god awful, stupidest, revolting, and just downright wrong thing about is the 50-100 pain in the ass hobgoblin and Minatour "Depraved Majors" do not count as vex, and therefore give no glimmer. WHY WAS THAT EVEN NECESSARY.

I would thoroughly enjoy Undying Mind as a Nightfall. That strike is crazy as just a Roc strike.

Some people are saying Xbox will get exclusives in future Destiny games. I'd rather no exclusives at all so everyone can get the full experience out of the game. No one is getting what they paid for currently.

Variety is the spice of life, something that Destiny could benefit from, especially when it comes to the Nightfall and Weekly activities. I can't seem to wrap my head around the idea: Why would you make strikes exclusive and knowingly limit content on one system which inherently affects the PS4 as well? A rather foolish oversight IMO. I would gladly give up even more exclusive guns for the sake of more variety from a strike standpoint.

I hate the exclusive content deal. I don't care about weapons but the Strikes really irk me. That's extra gameplay. More to do. Xbox misses out on actual gameplay. Sucks.

2 RespuestasThe exclusive strikes are not in the weekly or nightfall rotation. The omnigul strike is unlocked with DLC for everyone.

6 RespuestasIt's different for console exclusives. Everyone has the CHOICE to buy the expansions. Xbox users DONT have the choice to get exclusives, it was Mucrosofts choice not to pay more.

1 RespuestaIm on ps4 Ive played the exclusive strike once. To see what it was like. Without it coming up as weekly or nightfall and never having any bounties for it ive never had reason to do it just to do it. Also havnt had it come up in the roc strike rotation though others have said it has.

I'd like to try the Mars one that was exclusive (is it still?) think that would be pretty fun. I'm not bothered honestly, the new Venus strike I like a lot, it's fun, but no way should it be a nightfall when a whole set of console gamers couldn't play it.

It won't be until xbox has them, then prepare for some beasty nightfalls! I would complain if I was forced to do undying mind if xboxers got the nexus XD

The vex strike with epic mod would be insane. Hope it is never added to rotation lol.

At this point I'm more concerned about variety than the quality of the strike.

7 RespuestasThe Venus strike on Nightfall is terrible idea, so its probably best it never sees the light of day. No Cover, splash damage, constantly spawning mobs (with splash damage) no thanks. The flyers would be a bit better, as at least you can take cover in most parts of it.
