Halo 1-3 were incredible. Basically my childhood. The MCC has brought back an incredible feeling of nostalgia, but also frustration. How could bungie, the mind behind the greatest story ever told in a game flop so hard in so many aspects of this game? Halo is the anti Destiny as I see it. Halos mechanics, although nostalgic render it very difficult to play at times, but the story makes up for it. Destiny is the best FPS experience I've ever had, but is so lacking in story it is almost comical.
So yea, I'll buy halo 5, as I actually enjoyed halo 4 (played the campaign, hated multiplayer). If halo 5 is even half the game halo 3 was ill be ecstatic. My god the memories I have in forge playing fat kid infection and I am legend and so many others.

That's a very good post and I agree with you. Halo 3 is one of my favourite games ever. It was my first Halo experience and it blew me away with its gameplay and unforgettable music. Thing is, I would only be buying an Xbox One to play Halo as the other main exclusives for the console don't really appeal to me so I'm not sure I can justify paying £300+. Destiny, with all its faults is probably the most addictive game I have ever played. If it had a great story behind it, and had more content, in my opinion it would be truly amazing. If I do buy an X1, I'll probably buy it as a bundle with Halo 5 and buy MCC also.
