So. The main reason I continue playing this game, is because I really want the Arctic Proxy shader. It's pretty much the only shader I've wanted for the entire length of time I've been playing the game. (Other than the new Sunsetting shader Eris is selling). I spend hours upon hours each day, grinding strikes and doing activities in hopes that maybe I'll eventually get it from a Cryptarch or Vanguard level-up... After like thousands of engrams, I was hoping maybe by now, I would get at least one... and finally satiate my desire to be cool looking and wear arctic camo on Mars for no reason whatsoever. BUT NO! The wonderful postmaster has tainted my mail with this revolting Broadsword... About 11 times in a row it seems. Not only that, but they basically doubled the amount it takes to level up the Cryptarch. I have to spend about 3+ hours in strikes to get a single level up. For 2 blue engrams and 237 glimmer or whatever. I was so excited when I heard that Eva "Shader-lady" (as I call her) would be getting new stocks of shaders a few patches ago. I was thinking "OH MY GOSH! I'll finally get it! She'll rotate through the rest of the Cryptarch's shaders, if she's selling Broadsword and Thunderdevil, right?! Might take around 3 weeks, but I'll still eventually get it!" WRONG! She sells the same forsaken shaders over and over, every single day. Today. I reached level 100 with the Cryptarch. And I realized. I'm not going to get Arctic Proxy. There's nothing in my power I can do to acquire it. I can't devote my entire life to giving Rahool engrams... I can't. And I'm at the point where I'm going to just stop playing the game if I don't get it soon. I open each and every package from the postmaster as if it's my birthday, or Christmas. Only to find disappointment. It's sad that a simple cosmetic item has caused me so much grief... A cosmetic item that should technically be sold by the shader-lady if she sells other Cryptarch reward shaders, don't you think? Please Bungie. Can I get one for Christmas or something? It makes sense... A lot of sense. Include Arctic Proxy in the Christmas gift package? :| I dunno. /Rant EDIT::: To all the people saying "Omg, eww you play for a shader". Lots of people target one specific item of particular interest in the games they play. In this game. Arctic Proxy is mine. So go ahead and judge! Everyone has opinions. But in my opinion it's better than grinding for an Emblem at least, right? *Cough* Call of Duty and all "Prestige" items. *Cough* I bet you play the game for some stupid reason too. I mean... We're all still here, right? So that kinda proves that we all play for one probably stupid reason or another. Lmao.
