Hard light is the worst exotic to date. Even with the stability upgrade you'll be lucky to hit something.

False. Just picked up mine this morning. Even w/out it's perks I'm peppering faces. No joke, though, way more crits than misses/body shots. Gotta get personal with it, though. It's no potshotter.

I don't find it that hard to aim after the stability upgrades, you can still get plenty of headshots just don't try to use the smg as something it's not

the reason why you think HL sucks is that you're thinking of it as an auto *rifle*. it is most definitely an SMG. it's got a high ROF with lowish range and great hipfire. makes it a submachine gun in my book. when you think of it in those terms, it owns in the situations that demand a submachine gun. source: maxed out my hard light and i'm looking forward to upgrading it via xur or getting a new one through rng.

I for one love the hard light its a great gun if you know how to use it property. Your failure to hit things is simply due to the fact that you shoot enimes with it.

Uhhhh... I don't even have the upgrade for stability and I can handle the minimal recoil easily. It cuts up enemies in close-medium range easily

I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. The stability is almost maxed on mine, and it's good on hive missions and the beginning of the raid, since they like to come in groups. If you can't hit anything with a weapon with very high stability, then that's on you, not the weapon. And the worst exotic is super good advice..

Glad to see someone defending the hard light. Received the 2.0 version from the nightfall, and took it into the iron banner fully upgraded and wrecked shop. It's the most handy "back-up" AR to your fusion rifle or shotgun, people never expect its CQC effectiveness.
