Everyone seems butthurt that Hunters own Crotas End....
...im mean c'mon, the damn Trailer for the DLC showcased a Hunter. What'd you expect?

The only thing upsetting is that someone can solo it. Props to the guy but raids are supposed to be the backbone of end game cooperative content. Why is it possible to solo something like that? Hopefully the next raid is better.

4 RespuestasAs sword bearer they are useful, but honestly (I main hunter), any class can run sword. IIRC, one of the Titan's raid gear helps them out with the sword, more agility I think.

Hunters golden gun wrecks the swordbearer. Crotas End, finally a raid where you won't be viewed as the black sheep of the group.

Hunters do not own the Raid. Every player is useful, not sure where you come up with this. Im actually not sure where the hatred for hunters in the VOG came from either, ive never seen oracles taken down faster than a hunter with golden gun.

Warlock self res can actually cause you to kill crota faster. Lol do your sword run, run away, go back for 2nd run of first sword, just keep swinging don't run away, 2-3 extra hits, hit til you die, team takes out oversoul, as soon as crota moves to the right self red and start next sword bearer, repeat one more time and done.

A sun singer self res warlock (just in case anyone wants to get butt hurt over self res) And last night was my first ever crota fight so i had no idea what to do. You know what they had me do? Pick up the -blam!-ing sword. What a night. I did better then the hunters(on our team, I know there's better hunters.)

Hunters are best with the sword, no doubt. But it's do-able with any character. I'm actually glad they made the hunter almost a commodity. Maybe players that haven't used hunters in the past will appreciate their particular talents and make one for themselves. (By no means am I the biggest hunter fan either.) I myself made one of each character and yes I do love my hunter in the new raid.

12 RespuestasThe raid boots for all classes gives an increase agility boost while holding the sword, so the desired speed of a hunter isn't really needed. A warlock seems to be a better candidate because if the team fails to take Crota's shield down, if sword wielder dies, he can self rez and pick up chalice and go back to the team. Titans have the highest jumps, making it easy to get to Crota. A hunter can go invisible, sure, but once you start mashing the attack button, invisibility wears off and it definitely isn't going to save you from Crota's swing. [b]it doesn't matter what class you are, it's the player and will always be the player[/b]

I don't think anyone really cares about classes, they just pretend to be a troll. I've been invited to VOG plenty of times playing my hunter. But yeah hunters are really good swordbearers for Crota. 3 r2s, blink strike stealth, 4 r2s means Crota is down in 3 swords. With a level 32 hunter it will be 2 swords. Easy mode.

Blade dancer is pretty crucial in both raids. Flux grenades absolutely annihilate everything and the invisibility is super clutch

Golden gun does work on the oversoul but besides that their just as useful as everyone else. And hunters are good in vog golden gun 1 shots oracles and supplicants, not sure why there is so much towards hunters

1 RespuestaThis topic is funny. Just think a few weeks ago everyone was saying how awful hunters are in the VoG. Hunters responded by saying " I dont need ____ I have skill" now its the complete other way around. To everyone who isnt a hunter, welcome to how we have felt for the last 3 months. Fun no ?

I still think hunters have less of a part in the raid than titans or warlocks, but not as bad as it was in the Vault if Glass. Titan: bubble that gives your team a massive increase to dps or extra defense (excellent for Crota when the chalice isn't close). Warlock: spam orbs so the sword or other players can get their supers to make more orbs for more warlock supers. Hunters: still shouldn't use Bladedancer past the abyss, golden gun does decent damage to swordbearers.
