I'm beginning to think it's no hope for this community, maybe it's really just filled with dimwits. So you're telling me player's who already paid for the base of the game shouldn't be able to access major parts to it for a week? Then you call those people entitled for wanting to play what they purchased?
Are you guys mentally OK or what because that's clearly bullshit. Only a fanboy or a complete airhead supports this. I only play pvp but even I think the pve player's are getting screwed over.
Some might say it's business albeit in reality it's just bungie being incompetent again. These are the same people who can't separate pve & pvp updates, why is it a surprise that they couldn't make two different playlist. It's a joke, shit like this shouldn't fly with companies but as long as the sheeple continue to support it things like this will continue.
Brain dead consumers letting companies milk them dry.
edit: This thread clearly shows how brain dead people really are & the lack of comprehension most people have. Also how well the school systems are doing...
Edit: apparently we're all meant to be fanboys with only good feedback & if it's not you hate the game. Funny
Edit: Why would I not play something I already paid for? - @Dyalar
Thank you, my point exactly. /Thread

1 RespuestaEditado por Ancient: 1/5/2015 6:52:21 PMNew content like Strikes and Missions will be added into the weekly rotation for players that bought the DLC. Remember, we paid for more content. We deserve that content to be in Weekly rotation. I know it must suck for those without it. Which is why I offered a fun game for a chance to win The Dark Below around Christmas. You must understand as well that non-DLC owners are not locked out of Nightfalls, Weeklys, or Dailys. It is a Strike or a Mission. One of which you do not own the rights to play. Simple as that.

1 RespuestaYou know that agreement that came up on the title screen a couple months ago? Yea, that means you agreed to this. /thread
-
1 RespuestaBecause it isn't fully developed and they want to ease you into the changes, also the new things such as places you will go in story missions are just that, you can't go there without doing the mission anyway so why do you care?

2 RespuestasI bought it didn't want it, still bought it :p Now just imagine in the future, we've all seen that purple planet (forgot what it was called) get a raid... And only a raid... This isn't gonna be the only map pack that's over priced with little content...

This is how we ride... not knowing if we going to DLC or die. I live a life of internet thugs and 420gamertags. Catch me Trollin. - Duece Pac

3 RespuestasA simple DLC selection on the destination screen in addition to the regular Nightfall and Raid would have solved this issue. Bungie/Activision know this. They chose not to do DLC the normal way. They chose to take original content away periodically. They chose to keep DLC away from DLC owners when the Nightfall and Raid change back to the original stuff. I don't like this marketing technique. I don't plan on buying anything else from Bungie at this point. I mostly play PvP, but I can't imagine losing 2/3 of my game if I was a die hard pve player without DLC.

I don't believe they consider you to have paid for everything present at launch... At least not for things such as this. There have been plenty of changes since then... Most of them relegated to their servers. They change playlists, rewards, exchange rates, etcetera all the time. Hell, you couldn't even play the game you paid for if they shut down the servers. It's clear they either don't think about the consequences of their actions, or they don't care. Both are bad.

6 Respuestas"So you're telling me player's who already paid for the base of the game shouldn't be able to access major parts to it for a week?" - i stopped right there. They are not left out of any content, they are just not allowed access to the new content. A nightfall is a version of a strike, it's not content in itself. If it was, then we are all left out of content each week... because only 1 strike is offered as a nightfall each week. - So if you are going to bitch about something, at least do it correctly.

16 RespuestasI find it shocking the amount of people who don't want to buy the DLC but still want to play the game. You would think anyone who wants to play still is bored of playing the same stuff over and over still. One day it's "omg this game has no content" the next day everyone is flipping a shit because they can't play the same old tired content. Either get the DLC or quit the game is my advice to all of those people.
-
6 RespuestasHonestly, I would hope those who don't pay should get some kind of drawback... They shouldn't have access to any new content or gear... Hell, I don't want them to even SEE Eris... myself, like others who aren't QQing, paid the $15/20 to 'unlock' additional aspects of the game, why should "leeches" like half the ppl complaining get it for free? It's one weekly/nightfall and month at most, for not supporting the game you play by buying the expansions, you should have to suffer. Only people complaining are those that fall into one of two categories: 1:) your parents won't pay for the game or your McDonalds check doesn't cover ur child support AND an expansion. 2:) you're mad bc the content isn't free, NEWSFLASH!, nothing is. Spend the $20 and support the game you spend hours of your life complaining about or quit the game and go back to Minecraft.

2 RespuestasThis is where I like to point out that not only can you hit level 31 without the DLC. You can also get new weapons and stuff. Without purchasing it. I understand that people are upset about the nightfall but if you really thought they wouldn't have done the new strike to promote the DLC as the nightfall than shame on you for not expecting it. I think you non DLC purchasers need to think about what you got for free before saying anything more. :/
-
It is kinda unfair to those who didn't pay for the expansion. I mean in PvP they have a dark below playlist and the "vanilla" playlist is still available alongside it. I'm sure they could have added a "vanilla"strike list too. Maybe they will in time who knows?
-
7 RespuestasSo what your saying is that there should never be a nightfall or heroic for the dlc content. It is one week get you entitled head out of your ass and enjoy the game.
-
lol okay.
-
1 RespuestaHaving seperate playlists would completly ruin the rotation of the strikes.
-
Which strike that you paid for can you not play now?
-
1 I have dlc 2 I still enjoy playing destiny 3 see one & two
-
I agree. They are screwing over those who won't pay. But since nobody is changing anything I'll just pay. Which may seem like a weird sentence , but I have better thinks to do than change the videogame industry.
-
Not having weeklies for non dlc buyers is atrocious. Banning access to new functionality is fine but banning access to previously accessible functionality is stupid
-
Is this satire?

.......t'was the day after DLC, and al though the forum CatchMeTrolling was often a stoll'in , through our thoughts he sifted, our hearts not listed, by his stressing' clearly his pants were mess in' "Out of my house, I called quite quick. I challenge your wit! Your thoughts are dull, you piece of shit!" I ran to to this forums, hasty was my reply, but to your comments, well, I piss in your eye!"

3 RespuestasOP is clearly only 15. Everyone feeding him should take that into account.

2 RespuestasHoly shit, it's 1 week. If you hate Bungie so much stop giving them the gratification of playing their game. You people are like the guys who continue to date their girlfriends after they cheat on you, you're too addicted or too weak to do anything about it but you'll bitch about it 24/7. All talk, no action. I'm not even defending Bungie, $20 is a little much for the DLC but people act like Bungie killed your family and burned your Bible collection, seriously either do something or shut up about it.
-
3 RespuestasThis may be the most useless and ignorant post I have seen on these forums.

1 RespuestaIf you get milked dry for $20 or $35 bucks then maybe you need to game over and try again at life because you've obviously failed.
