Why was the Archon Priest imprisoned in his cell with a GUN IN HIS HAND?
I can't be the only who finds that strange, can I??

Consensus seems to be that we need to push the cell off the cliff into the blue lava instead of releasing him, because the Archon Priest had a shotgun enema before he was captured. Also, jumbo colonoscopy if his gun misfires.

For all those saying it isn't his actual cell need to play the strike again. Dinklebot specifically says" it's a cell, from the prison of elders. The Archon Priest is still inside" as soon as you enter the area where the cell is.

1 RespuestaActually I was thinking about this, and it would probably be a lot more cinematic if he climbed out of the cell into the daylight, stretched a little bit of the cryo out, saw there were three son-of-a-bitch guardians killing all the little fallen who must have freed him, reached over and ripped the cannon off a wrecked pike and let loose his storied battle roar--which sounds like "Ruaaaaahhhh" to the guardians but which loosely translates to "We will feast as we relish the desecration of your lifeless, broken bodies!"--and started blasting away at those arrogant little bastards.

4 RespuestasIt's not his cell. His cell was destroyed when he was rescued. What he is in when you find him is a soul restoration chamber, where they attempt to gather enough ether to restore his "soul". You can rocket the chamber off the cliff because it's bolted to the ground.
