Blink strike is not very particular about angles, and dodging a throwing knife (which is pretty slow, you can dodge reactively outside of shotgun range) is about as easy as seeing a titan coming and preparing for a sc. I'm not saying they're in need of nerfing, just that with all of the one shot kills in the crucible throwing knife headshots wouldn't be particularly out of place or overpowered.

In my experience Blink Strike is pretty particular. And yeah you can dodge throwing knives just as you can anything else. But a skilled player with great aim can still nail you with the knife while you're on the move. If there wasn't a perk that would allow for near infinite throwing knives, then I'd agree that it should be a one hit kill. But that perk alone makes the potential for abuse too high. I respect your opinion, and respectfully disagree.

I enjoy a civil argument as well. A good player might get hits with the throwing knife, but a good player gets kills with shoulder charge too. I mean, in a game with blink+ shotguns and fusion rifles can we really be worried about a knife that can be dodged reactively? It would be one thing if it were hitscan so aiming it properly was always a kill, but outside of a very narrow range you can see the knife animation and move out of the way- you have to fail to dodge it. Hitting someone isn't even just prediction of their intended trajectory, most of the time it's going to involve the other player messing up his strafing and walking into the knife

Yeah, fair enough, they're pretty easy to dodge. I know I rarely nail PvP opponents in the head. Maybe it wouldn't be unbalanced, but I can see potential for abuse. I'd be willing to try it out though. It would certainly make me feel even deadlier as a Hunter in PvP. And you're right, I'm much more likely to be one shorted by shotguns, fusion rifles, and shoulder charges than I ever am a buffed throwing knife, so I guess itnwouosnt really change the game that much at all.

This..... this is how adults argue. I bow my mohawk of saint 14 to both of you. Keep it classy

Haha thanks. Civility is so much more effective for communication than anger. Also, I'm jealous of your helmet. :)
