why did I get the sword of Crota while farming earth?
I got the sword of Crota while farming on earth??? What's that about? But it disappeared after a min or two?

It's because of the expansion next week. So the Hive on the moon and earth will start a ritual and attack with the sword and if you kill them you can use it for a minute or so.

It is one of the new public events. It happens like the pike encounters but you get the sword for two minutes I believe. Just remember that only one Georgian can pick up the sword, so if others are there when the knight is killed whoever gave the sword first has it, the rest don't get one.
