The true reason why you hate Crucible
Let me tell you first that I was once one of you. I was abyssmal in PvP, my worst game was like 0.08 kd (not kidding). I can absolutely feel you. I disliked the Thorn Bounty, especially bc all the PvP-Pros belittled me "did that in two games, no probs". My first 500 void points took like 20+ games, but i reached it eventually.
At first I thought: I hate PvP, but if was honest with myself I didn`t hate the Gamemode of a game whose gameplay I adore, I hated the fact that I always lost, many times at the bottom of my team.
Constantly loosing is no fun, but believe me: constantly winning isn`t either. So after 100+ games when I finally for the first time topped the Scoreboard (I consider myself now at best "mediocre" so it is sth. special for me) i was happy as a bunny. Only my first time beating Atheon comes anywhere near this.
I wouldn`t say that I prefer PvP to PvE, ratio is maybe now 20/80, but I can assure you, that you miss out on a very crucial part of Destiny-Fun.
To all the PvErs: Stop hating on our PvP Bros. and give them some respect.
Solo Nightfall is easy, 2.0 kd in Crucible is hard.
To all the PvPers: Keep crushing me in Crucible! Love the smell of Solar Grenades in the morning!

I've gotten "good" enough at PVP where I die as much as I kill...and I'm OK with that. Things I don't like. too fast - 1 or 2 shots could be death = none of that old school strafing that I miss maps too small. we need a few bigger ones. 6 people even on the moon is too small. you run 5 seconds and boom, someone in your face. respawn is WAAAAYYY too quick = with no penalty for death, people run right back into the fight. taking someone out does not give you the "power play" feeling it should. this is why i always liked the slow thought-out strategy of the rainbow 6 series there's no hunkering-down or suppressing. just push forward on the stick and hold the trigger special ammo isn't special if you spawn with it control points are not resources - would be nice to have a map where cap points are worth way more than the kills

2 Respuestasi cant stand the terrible net code. killing someone at the same time or getting a kill after youre dead when you got the jump on someone is just stupid. hit boxes are terrible, not much else to be said about that. only having close quarter maps. im used to playing battlefield type games with huge open areas with close quarter areas of interest. i dont like being forced to do just one. also not having any decent vehicles in pvp is kinda crappy. two maps have vehicles? and theyre meh at best.

5 RespuestasI dislike PvP in Destiny and I can easily tell you why... Because I didn't buy Destiny to play PvP. I bought it for the story aspect(which is sadly lacking) and co-op game play. Unfortunately Destiny puts a lot of weight into their PvP game which I do not understand. There are plenty of PvP games out there and I actually own many and love many of them. Hell I love the CoD franchise and I'm actually decent at PvP in that game because, well, that's what the game is meant to be. Destiny IMO is not. So having a game that I purchased for the PvE aspect put so much time into improving their PvP game just annoys me. If I want to PvP I will go play a far superior PvP game such as Call of Duty.

20 RespuestasMy rumble kd is over 2.0, control is 1.9ish. I love pvp in this game. I love creating different loadouts to take into the Crucible and have fun with, forcing myself to play a different way. I love handcannons, I love scouts, I love kicking butt with pulse rifles and confusing people, and believe it or not I love when I get outplayed by someone with mad skills with a particular weapon. Then I send them a message and give them props. Made a lot of friends that way, a lot of guys I ended up doing Iron Banner with were guys I went toe to toe with in crucible.

1 RespuestaI would honestly be happier if they removed that brief invincibility that Titans get when they do their Hulk Smash super. Even with a fully upgraded Comedian shotgun, it only brings their shield down half way.

I disliked pvp cuz i just sucked,my first fps was borderlands 2 and than is almost entirely pve. I got better in iron banner but i still avoid it

I am mediocre like you but there are far better games out there for PvP at least games I prefer over Destiny PvP

Too many people depend on those to get kills and it's annoying be one-shotted by someone with a tiny sliver of health. Maybe if the nerfed the ammo box timers so green ammo are less common, but it's whatever.

The problem is that it legged the whole match so i just played the end of every match and in the beginning i was AFC (my kd isn't important for me ) then i realized this isn't why i bought the game so i left pvp and i came back for IB and Thorn and after that i never touched it again

Yeah we are damn near the same KD wise. (Only looked at your hunter) But I thoroughly enjoy playing crucible.

I actually carry in PvP.. I hate PvP because about halfway through I lag out and get the error code "bee" I got to rank 1 in Iron banner in about two hours because of lagging out and not getting my medallion or win.

The maps suck. That's why shotguns and fusion rifles are used in the majority.

1 RespuestaTrue. I still suck ass at PvP, but recently im starting to see some positive K/Ds in my score. It just takes patience and time (pun intended). I used to do it just for the bounties, but now im actually starting to enjoy it a little. I remember when my first thorn and invective bounties were a nightmare to complete though.
