Sweet! Let's do this.
Complete five strikes without dying.
Ok no problem a bit of a grind but got it done. What's next?

Uhh.... wut
Enters Cruciable and gets insta killed repeatedly.
BUWAHAHAHAHAHA... no... just no.
Quits game and abandons bounty.
Sorry bungie I don't mind earning gear but being forced to play a game mode I have zero interest in isn't worth my time.

Editado por Totenswander: 12/6/2014 6:42:19 PMI know your pain, my friend. I used to abandon this and the Thorn bounty because of the Crucible part of it, but then I decided to do something about it and figure it out. Now I have a lot of fun in Crucible. I wrote this before the Iron Banner returned and got an amazing response form it: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/79178950/0/0 I hope it helps you out.

1 RespuestaIt's not 25 kills its a 25 kill to death ratio if u die it drops.

2 RespuestasEx cod and halo players stalk destinys crucible

15 RespuestasThen don't play it...no one is forcing you. No one is forcing you to do bounties, no one is forcing you to do anything.
-
Basically the quick bounty. But i agree with you.
-
I feel your pain. I do hit the Crucible now and again, but I get torn apart by the better players. I seem to struggle to adapt from a run 'n gun play style and get picked off by sniper & fusion rifles. I think my k/d is around 0.8 or something like that, if that offers any indication. I didn't find that bounty too bad. Took me a couple of rounds. The real one that had me was the Thorn Crucible segment. Man, that was tough. I got to a point where I just had to park it until I got lucky enough to drop Atheon's Epilogue. Managed to get it done though. Was satisfying as hell!

Play with friends. The crucible is a bitch when you play alone.
-
At least you gave it the old college try... Wait... what is the opposite of that? ; )
-
7 RespuestasHow are you being forced? I don't like the crucible either so I choose not to play it, but don't feel forced to have to play it.
-
This may not help but learning the maps is a key thing, as well as learning when to attack and run. Either way I respect your opinion as crucible can even frustrate me and I love it

5 RespuestasEditado por DEZARATH: 12/3/2014 4:59:42 PMActually it's your duty to go back and do everything possible to make PVP a very unhappy place. Cost your team. Run around and just not care. Many will say good an easy kill. Until you're on their side costing them their W/L ratio. PVE players please form Voltron and dance on the Competitive's need for competitve play.

4 RespuestasEditado por avoidpancakesx3: 12/6/2014 5:28:34 PMI liked iron banner better:/ Now theres no competitiveness/competition in crucible. Oh well.

I use to the despise the crucible....until I got so frustrated with PVE and its monotony. I jumped in head first with my Titan and ignored my many deaths...days went into weeks and sure enough....I ended up finding my play style and now I can hold my own. Once I understood the layout of each map I sought out players rather than wait for a kill...became so confident that the majority of my kills were shoulder charges (looking forward to the new exotic Titan boot!) you can do it!!
-
I will preface this by saying that I don't really enjoy PvP games. However, for some reason I typically really enjoy the Crucible. I suck and admit it. If my k/d ratio even hits 1 I'm ecstatic. But there's just something about the game modes I really enjoy. I think it's because I'm a natural team player and will never give up but keep fighting for my team. (I never play the free-for-all mode.) Of course, it can be frustrating at times when you're up against extremely good players, but I just accept that as part if the game. Part of my problem in getting kills I'd usually my teammates are just quicker than I am. I have noticed that I am improving since release, though. My situational awareness skills still suck, though.

The bounty you are doing is for invective, which is almost purely a PVP weapon anyways. It's uses in PVE are very limited. So you are mad you have to PVP to get a weapon you mostly won't use outside of PVP? Drop the bounty you are not worthy.

3 RespuestasEditado por aarondropdead: 12/5/2014 8:21:20 PMYou can get better, I sucked, now I'm okay. When i first tried crucible in the beta all I remember was being killed repeatedly by colorful lasers. But you eventually figure it out. Plus that 25 kills over deaths includes assists, so it doesn't take long. I mostly play for marks and bounties. Use your best machine gun and run to that heavy when it drops. And play control above the other modes.

Aim for the head

5 RespuestasSo sick of these PvE whiners. If you're THAT good or even DECENT at PvE, you should be able to handle some basic Crucible play whether you like it or not. Nobody is saying you have to put the bulk of your time there, but if you'd stop being negative, learn the maps a little, and just apply your basic FPS skills, you can complete the bounties. LESS QQ, MOAR PEW PEW.

Editado por Subie132766: 12/5/2014 4:05:27 PMYour a Scrub like me, I don't like PVP and I'm always at the bottom of the pile, only do it for marks, just get one kill if you can.
-
Equip an AR, fusion rifle and rocket launcher. Then, learn the maps. Learn where the other team is likely to spawn. Once you get used to that, it gets a lot better. Aim for the chin in most cases.

1 RespuestaOh no it's far worse than just 25 kills in crucible. Your overall spread of kills+assists has to be higher than your deaths by 25. Hey I'm right there with you though, neither my wife or I enjoy crucible but we've been playing it and first off, it's much more fun with friends. Secondly, skirmish sucks. You will probably have more fun with control. Third, seriously just keep playing it. Don't get frustrated too much because it does not matter if you win or lose aside from maybe some extra crucible point. big whoop. Just play and get used to it, it will get better I promise. Especially when it starts balancing out the teams better.
-
1 RespuestaYou are not missing much with the invective anyway if that helps at all
-
It really wasnt that hard of a bounty. Im not pro PvP by any means but I knocked it out in a few games. I wasnt into PVP until I got my thorn bounty. I had so much fun doing it now I have more time in PvP than I have in PvE. Preference though. I do think they should make some exotic bounties with only PvE requirements.
-
2 RespuestasGG bud. 25 kills like really? That is your definition of hard? Being good at crucible takes time. Same with the bounty. It's not a one game thing.

1 RespuestaEditado por jdavis362: 12/5/2014 1:05:01 PM25 kill spread is hard? No hard raids either I suppose.
Check
How about normal raids?
Checkmate
1 RespuestaOnly way to win is not to play.
