Imagine Destiny had it launched with it's cut content, 7-10 strikes is a great amount and won't get too repetitive as quickly, 3-4 raids with unique weapons and armour is just he best way to give options and extend playing time dramatically, essentially doing around 6 raids a week. Imagine so many more unique exotics and legendaries (more than double of what's in the game currently), more shaders, ships, emblems and factions and vendors. Don't forget triple the amount of crucible maps and mainly much more of a story. probably missing a lot aswell. If destiny had launched with the two dlc apart of the original game then it would easily last 1-2 years no problem, as of now, barely lasted 2-3 months, greed is a bitch.
Just think of what a industry topper this game could have been, no cut content and exclusive content.

10 RespuestasBut then they'd have a higher turnover rate! They are SLOWLY releasing paid content to keep their gamers playing for longer. We humans want everything available to once but by stretching the game out like they are, it's making us want to pay to see what's next. It goes into a big long circle! And when we finally get it all, we might actually have a better understanding of the story. And then a month later you will find a special edition of Destiny with every little thing they've released up to that point etc. you get the idea. It's genius and dumb at the same time. Think of Clash of Clans, it takes time to upgrade buildings, making you wait and want more. Well you upgrade it and then wait more for the next thing. Bungie is scientifically making us want more. They are playing God; we complain for a while and they do a magic trick, we complain more they do more magic tricks. It just keeps going. Gotta give it to them, they're feeding on our human flaws. Again, if they gave us everything at once we'd just get tired of it sooner; instead they're opening it up bit by bit.

1 RespuestaThe only thing I would care for is larger free roam maps, a true story that isn't a budgeted dinklebot grind, and a GIANT hub area. An entirely reworked loot system, in-game economy, trading, gambling, and racing was what I was hoping for before release.

5 RespuestasEditado por JoosE420: 12/8/2014 1:35:36 AMIt would be much harder to patch 3 to 4 raids at the same time. We would be much more frustrated had the game shipped with all this supposedly cut content. Bungie is still trying to patch and fix Vault of Glass as it is... over the next month they'll need to troubleshoot over two raids... they need to pace themselves as we gamers should too. At 3 to 4 raids running at the same time... we'd never see much of anything get fixed in a somewhat timely manner. Trust that these game developers are people too. They aren't out to screw us over. Sometimes developers over hype their own games too. Remember the hype created by Molyneaux over Fable. Destiny will only get better. Patience and time all you avid gamers. These are game developers we are talking about not some energy or oil conglomerate out to rip you off.

5 RespuestasEditado por ToughGuy051: 12/7/2014 10:29:16 PMPlay borderlands 2 plus all dlcs. This was one of the best rpg fps ever made "in my opinion". I loved this game. Its old so you have to go last gen but its worth it. When i imagined of what destiny could be i think of borderlands 2. Btw i hate when people make the comparison. Destiny is a sreaming pile of shit compared to borderlands. They arent even in the same leauge. Everything you want in destiny has already been done in this game.

2 RespuestasI doubt destiny cut that much content. Certainly most of the first. But last time i checked house of wolves raid. It was called reef raid, description was reef_raid_description. Certainly a placeholder. Hard to say truly what was cut and what was unfinished but should be finished.

1 Respuesta...and the original Storyline Ahh...early 2013

If the game released as they were describing it and showing it at e3 destiny would have been the only game I'd be playing for a long time. Oh well
-
2 RespuestasWith that about of content they could have waited 4-6 months for the first dlc and raised the level cap significantly.
-
4 RespuestasThe game you're describing will probably be something like destiny: the legend edition, maybe out in another year or so, featuring all the DLC, extras, etc :D

1 RespuestaIts not great to the consumer, but if you think about it, they were really smart with how they cut the game, they put in the effort to make the game and people bought it, alot of people were unhappy with it but they still continued to play because of the games addictive nature, if i disliked any game as much as i dislike destiny i would never have put in as much time as i have with this game. I have a love/hate relationship with this game and i hate that it uses so much of my spare time, but by making the game so addictive they have managed to keep their community interested and are continually making money, pretty smart if you ask me, i can guarantee most people who have said that destiny 2 is a shocking idea will still go out and buy it.

6 RespuestasThat's what I thought I was buying. Not this disaster. We are test subjects in a on going beta for D2. I don't know what they did. Was content cut? Was it all just broken up pieces of story with nothing to hold it together. A advertising ploy? It worked. They have my money. I bought the expansion pass up front. They don't know what they are doing. They are throwing mud at the wall and see what sticks. Next week, maybe two? Our mats will be sellable. Yup. This is a on going punk. I'm glad I bought Dragon Age today. I'm not leaving. Not yet. I spent my money. I want something in return. So, see ya all in the funny papers!

1 RespuestaDo you mean the game with DLC or the game before they butchered it a year before release? The game before they butchered it would have been fantastic, now it's a shell of it's former self that gets repetitive fast....
-
1 RespuestaPlay warframe and look at the variety there... destiny is a pathetic shell. I would be back on board in an instant if they would fess up to what has occurred with the missing/absent story line.
-
11 RespuestasHow about you put the game on the shelf for a year and then play and then it's your perfect game again, if not stfu.

11 RespuestasWow... So.. Cut content.. Lemme explain this. It wasnt cut. The expansions, "expand" upon te game as it already is. Lemme ask you something, what would make eris and all the content in te dark below and house of wolves so special if it wasnt repackaged as an image to entice and excite alot of people.. What would be the point? It'd be boring by now, they wouldnt be able to fund the next expansions after 1 & 2.. I already explored this day 1. What would be the point of the exotics and raid gear if you could jus jump to lvl 34.. Think about that..
