Congrats on removing the only way to earn marks without going to the crucible. Simply sucks now. Just had to appease all the whiners complaining about having to farm mats. And of course it was just simpler to replace material exchange with the current system.

If you want crucible gear then play crucible. Simple...
-
Is that how it works? Thanks for the help... seems as if that's what the devs want. But no thanks
-
You can't get raid gear without doing the raid so why should crucible gear be different?
-
So all 3 factions sell gear that is only purchased with crucible marks is fair? I accept the gear the crucible quarter master sells but the factions should accept both vanguard and crucible marks. At least before you could sell the mats for crucible marks
-
What if I just wanted to support my local faction without playing pvp if I really like their stuff. Not Crucible stuff. I'd need to go play 9-13 crucible matches just for an emblem.
-
If you don't want to play Crucible then factions really aren't for you...
-
So, what you're saying is that the factions who only give us patrol missions and have like nothing to do with pvp, they wouldn't be for me? Also yes, I know that the gametypes in pvp "belong" to the factions, but anything we do for the factions, stays out of pvp.
-
Factions giving patrol missions I admit is kinda odd.

Editado por dieiidee: 12/2/2014 6:26:40 AMBungie has maken some weird decisions altering the game from the start and alpha and beta and so on :P But still, you can't deny that exchanging materials for crucible/vanguard marks was a bad option to get crucible marks for gear or weapons if you didn't want to play crucible. It wasn't hurting anybody and the time you spent collecting 50 materials could have spent winning 2 matches or losing 3 in crucible. Alternate options for same stuff is always nice, especially as the factions require crucible marks also. Can't say that the removal of material exchange for marks affected me personally, but I still liked to turn them in sometimes if I was so close to a faction rank up and didn't bother to go do a few patrol missions or a couple of patrol vip missions.

I agree, I feel like Im being forced to play crucible. Its bad enough I have to go for my exotic bounties.

It's the one thing I've learned through forums in which the developers seek feedback. Be careful what you ask for and or complain about because they never add but replace....
-
Editado por harrymfa: 12/2/2014 4:15:34 AMIt has nothing to do with what was asked. There is no reason to disallow material trading both ways. They both can work perfectly together. They made the decision to remove it the way it was without asking for feedback. Not the community's fault.
-
I was going to say the same thing!
-
That's what I'm saying. Devs never add anything. It's easier to swap or replace existing code. Think about it.
-
Let the faction vendors take Vanguard marks as well. Problem solved.
-
Editado por harrymfa: 12/2/2014 4:21:18 AMI have a better proposal: make both marks the same currency. They can still cap it to 100 for each PvP and PvE. Problem solved. This game is only months old and is getting out of hand with so many currencies and upgrade materials. Eventually you get some that become virtually useless, like glimmer or plasteel platings.
