I wouldn't get to play it at all, but I wouldn't have paid for it at all either. Instead, now I paid for it and don't get to play it. HUGE difference. If Sony hadn't inked the exclusive deal, then the content most definitely would have been available to everyone including Xbox players. The fact they are eventually releasing the content to Xbox players later on is a strong support of this argument. If Sony had actually paid for it to be developed, instead of paying for Bungie to carve it out of the game, then they sure as hell wouldn't have let it ever show up on Xbox.

  • YOU still paid for it. It was your choice to buy the game in the first place, knowing that Sony has exclusive rights. And Sony DID ink the exclusive deal and players received an incentive to buy the PS4 instead of the Xbox. It was a smart move on Sony's part and worked in their favor. Again, the issue that you have is with Microsoft not wanting to pay extra for exclusive rights. So bitch to Microsoft about it instead of throwing a hissy fit at Bungie. What aren't you comprehending about this?

  • That is not true at all. It was well known what the day1 PS exclusive content that released the same day the game came out was going to be. However, it was not known or revealed that the expansion DLC content would also include PS exclusive content until after money have been exchanged. I did pay for the game knowing what the deal with Day1 stuff would be. I paid for the expansion pass NOT knowing what the expansion DLC exclusive content would be, or that it was even going to exist. Nothing was said of it prior.

  • So, you paid for the expansion pack without knowing something.... and it's all Bungie's fault still? Good lord....

  • Reasonable assumption can be made about what future DLC content will include based on the ENTIRE HISTORY OF VIDEO GAMES up until now. It was entirely reasonable to buy the Ghost Edition, being happy to see it includes the Expansion Pass, under the assumption that the Xbox platform would get all the same expansion content as the Playstation while also being fully aware of the launch day PS exclusive content. But nope, Activision decided to tread new ground and up the level of cash grabbing they've already been doing elsewhere...

  • Congrats, you made an assumption and it was incorrect. And this is Bungie's fault because....? Also, unless I'm mistaken, Bungie's contract with Activision gave Bungie practically zero control over how the game is marketed AND distributed. Therefore, Sony cut the deal with Activision. Bungie was likely not even part of the conversation and every little bitch that whines to Bungie about ANOTHER COMPANY doing business and making money doesn't understand a -blam!-ing thing about economics or making a game with a multimillion dollar budget.
