OP, you're an ass.
You have 2x level 30 characters, so clearly you understand the raid is difficult. I wouldn't take a level 26 random into the raid either. You might as well try playing the raid with a broken thumb, as being level 26 is generally a large handicap in the raid. Have you ever taken a 26 random through the raid?
Also, let's call out the fact that if you're a level 26, [b]mathematically you can farm and get to level 27/28![/b] Which makes me infer that you literally only wanted to raid because of the massive amounts of shards/energy you stand to get, i.e. you want someone else to do the work while you collect the reward. Get off your ass and go farm that shit like the rest of us poor assholes who had to do it to climb to 28.

Shit no. I still haven't beaten the -blam!-ing thing. Me and my fireteam all have jobs and wives and kids, so we get about 3 hours once a week where we can actually get 6 dudes on. 9 runs, 0 times beating Atheon. Last run we actually got to Atheon, then shut it off an hour later after getting wiped by so many bugs. //-blam!-ing portals glitching and minotaurs reviving.
