ib gear will always be a joke to raiders
Its not that we dont respect the player him self as a raider grinding week after week to get level 30, when we reach that glory bungie desides to tweak the game for others sort of a hand out face it ib gear to easy to attain complete a bountys u got 30 light no rng no dealing with oracles no glitches no wipes. Just walk your happy ass up to that prick and by please give me a -blam!-ing break. Then now you a thirty let go raid with the vets ib gear is not raid worthy sorry to burst ur -blam!-ing bubble raid gear forge for raids n will carry over to the next raid. It has specs for that helms spawn orbs for team mates the rest of the gear works with oracles gaining super abilty faster so yea ib gear not worth shit to a raider so there u have it form a raider

"Raiders" LOL shut the hell up. I guess there's raiders and cruciblers and strikers and story-ers. They're all part of the same game. I guarantee you that the best pvp player at destiny would destroy you. Stop getting a big D about Destiny and realize that raiding is something that is convenient as hell for some and super inconvenient to others. Please do not post anything like this. What if pvp had a level 30 armor or story mode did? What if in a new expansion, there were other ways of going about or even possibly not having raid gear that is above exotics and GOD. Remember you might feel level 30 but you're literally a level 20 when ya get butt naked.

I value my IB gear over my raid gear. The banner gear took a lot more work to get than the raid gear. Maybe raid gear would actually mean something if the raid was actually still hard to do.

I have all he raid armor yet I wear IB gauntlets for the faster reload. Who -blam!-ing cares 30is30 I've seen kids in all raid gear trying to beat the raid and theyre garbage. Your logic makes zero sense and you can go -blam!- your single minded self.

As one raider to another: What are you, an "earner"? At least you know for sure an IB30 got their gear by winning games. For all anyone else knows, a VoG30 could have been carried through the raid, cheesed the bosses, and gotten lucky RNG rolls to get to 30. They also might have actually done a lot of hard work and grinded the raid for months. No way to tell, so judging people on what gear got them to 30 is completely pointless.

Actually, people who grind iron banner are grinding towards an objective. If I do the raid once a week, I'm not guaranteed to get a piece of raid gear. Everyone is equal though, you should just stop talking.

Iron banner boots and gloves on any fight that doesn't require rockets. That one extra bullet when I use corrective measure is hilarious.

As a person who raids on hard 3 times a week with close to 30 completions I can say a iron banner 30 is always welcome on my team. (Iron banner armour looks better anyway) and yes I have 2 full sets of raid gear 1 for my warlock and another for my hunter

What about those who use ib gear so that they're high enough level to raid on hard since they have poor RNG luck. IB gear has its purpose, get over it it's there. It's useful. Especially for alts.

First, -blam!-ing learn to type, and second that's mainly your opinion. I may not be a "hardcore" raider like some are, but Idc where you got your gear from, how you got it. It makes no difference to me, and it shouldn't to you. Why? Because, destiny is sort of like an rpg, right? Well have you seen an rpg where EVERY single person is sporting the same exact armour? Bungie implemented IB so we have more variety to choose from. Hell IB gear has better bonuses compared to VoG gloves/boots imo.

I have both, use both.. Depending on the situation. Skilled guardians don't draw lines so sharp that they limit options. They use EVERYTHING at their disposal!
