Any raid primary is better than any exotic primary because of the elemental damage

Try the hawk moon if your lucky enough to get it. Might change your opinion.

Still can't get a void shield down as fast as atheons ep or a fire shield down as fast as vision of confluence and shielded enemies are the toughest ones you face

Good point. That's why normally rock a heavy machine gun with elemental I need though. Remove the shield and then switch back to primary with kinetic damage.

Ya in most strikes and the raid its manageable because you rarely have to handle more than one type of shield in the same strike but in things light nightfall where so many enemies have shield I like that I can carry all three elements at the same time, generally it doesn't matter at all, in level 24 strikes for instance I'm mowing down shielded enemies with my hawkmoon pretty easily without even worrying about elements but in the hardest stuff in the game having an element on your primary in a serious game changer

Wow I have both too, and it is really a toss up between the two for me. I enjoy using both. I feel the fate bringer is better for ads and the hawk moon better for bosses.
