Iron Banner Q & A
Let's use this thread as a place to post any Iron Banner related questions for them to be answered by our own community. I know I have more than a few questions of my own, so instead of wasting a thread for just a few questions to be answered for myself, thought I'd just make a new thread for everyone to use.
I'll start with a few questions I have since I did not get to really get into the IB last time, but this time around I am all about it.
I see that there are IB Boots, Gauntlets, Fusion Rifle, and Scout Rifle. To acquire other guns that are not those two, what must be done? Hope to land them as an end game reward? Played all day yesterday and didn't see anyone get any IB guns, but I saw a few Exotics drop... (same question with gear, though I know boots n gloves are the only lvl 30)
Once the IB class item has been acquired, does it only give you the in game rep buff or will it redirect rep to IB? I don't think it would, so does it give you a buff when turning in IB bounties only? Does it redirect any Crucible rep towards IB?

Have gotten Timur's Lash three times now haha. It's a legendary hand cannon that's an IB weapon. Other than that i haven't seen anyone on my team receive an IB weapon, only the ship every now and again. I broke down one of the hand cannons and didn't receive any energy for it so there's a little something to know. I also rerolled the perks on one of them. All three of them that I got had the third eye perk and when I rerolled it had it as well. So I'm assuming that there is one special perk that doesn't change on a reroll. Just thought I'd share some of those findings :)

3 RespuestasI'm going to guess that you acquire the other guns through leveling your IB rank past 5. So maybe at rank 6 or 7 you get a post master letter with a legendary gun?

5 RespuestasThe emblem, shader and class item each give a stacking buff that increases ALL IB rep gain. This includes wins, cashing in medallions and turning in bounties. I have all three on, and last night with the tempered buff, i was getting 77 rep per win.
