Please Remove Aim Assist
Bungie, this game is fun. I have been playing it almost non stop for 2 months now and enjoy playing it with my friends, but I need to get this off my chest.
[b]GET RID OF AIM ASSIST![/b] We are not little children who need their hands held when it comes to shooting things! If I want to take out enemies I don't want my cross hairs sticking to whatever hostile Runs in front of me! I cannot tell you how many times I have died because a hostile runs in front of my crosshairs, dragging it away from my target. [b]We should be free to at least have the option to turn it off[/b], but we dont! This needs to change and I hope I'm not alone in this.
(Edit) I see plenty of people confusing aim assist with auto look centering within the settings. These two are completely different, aim assist helps your sight stick to opponents while auto look centering re levels your sight (keeps it center, as it says) when you're on the move

1 RespuestaYes, please make it optional. As my skills improve, I notice it more and more. It is getting to the point of being annoying, messing up my aim, and driving me crazy dragging my aim all over the map. I would love to turn it off!

2 RespuestasI don't mind it except when I'm tryin' to bust a headshot on some Hive or whatever and some dickhead Hive runs in the way and it follows that one by the time I shoot..completely missing the one I wanted to shoot in the first place. Then they know I'm there and it's an oh -blam!-...run run run run shit...dead. (Nightfall btw)

Halo basically invented aim assist for console and without that, aiming overall would be downright horrible. If you don't want aim assist, don't speak for everyone else. Tell Bungie to give the [b]OPTION[/b] to [b]disable[/b] aim assist, as you have suggested.

I've been playing since release and tge only problem aim assist has possed is fighting sheiled cabal with flintch off. But even then after like 4 min of practice you learn to compensate for it. Not to mentiin that if you give ppl the option to turn it off all you'll hear is...auto aim noobs!!! Bla bla bla shut up everyone has it and is equally assisted and hampered by it. I understand if it got you killed once but after thats its your fault bevause guess what? You knew it was on and it would do that so stop leaving your self open to get killed due to one bullet not going where you wanted??? Idk it doesnt even make sense if something jumped in front of what you were trying to shoot would that kill you instead???

bump. Aim assist makes the game more difficult for those who know their controller very well.

Aim assist should only be for training purposes, and nothing else. It would be good if it automatically turned off at lvl 20 (people should have learnt to aim by then) and couldn't be turned on again.
