I find it kind of frustrating when it takes several steps to accept an invite to somebody's fireteam. That's why I think invites should work automatically. When you send somebody an invite, the system puts them on your team automatically. The days of fiddling around with a menu, waiting for somebody's profile to load, and accepting the invite, would be over. It would make things run much more smoothly.
On the ps4, people often don't even realize they've received an invite, so they miss the chance to accept it. This would take care of that problem. It would also help break the ice between strangers in the tower. Bungie, please implement this.
EDIT: A few of you have pointed out that this feature could be rather annoying while you are doing a raid or nightfall. I see your point. Perhaps a timer could be added. After you receive an invite, you have a 3 second window in which you could either deny the invite by pressing A (or X on the playstation), or accept it by pressing B (or circle).

Bad troll m8
-
Your time so important you can't wait for them to push 3 buttons
-
This is why I muted you.
-
This has actually happened to me multiple times and I have no idea why. Playing crucible, someone invites me, then I get an error code and it puts me in their fireteam lol
-
3 RespuestasThis is the stupidest thing. If you're doing the raid, especially near the end, do you think you'll notice a little notification in three seconds? And if you don't, you would join their team instead, whom are not on the last cp of the raid. Also, what if you don't want to join a fireteam?
-
Usually i dont want to join person who invites me right away. I have stuff to do at the tower and such.
-
3 RespuestasXB1 is VERY Easy. - No change needed You see the alert...you hold down the center button...and bang...your in the fireteam...and in most cases the party chat as well. So what's so hard about that? And if you miss it....tap center button....choose your notification button...choose the invite...accept..done. - 4 button presses in 5 seconds? Big fat hair deal. *Not familar with playstation's interface so you got me there.*
-
to your edit.. what if some annoying prick u met in the tower keeps spamming u w/ invites? I for one would not want to be declining invites every 10 seconds. horrible idea
-
You have to be trolling or 12 or both
-
This is an awful suggestion
-
You're missing the satire tag. This is literally the dumbest idea anyone has ever had regarding destiny. You sir, are an idiot
-
Blank invites don't exactly inspire me to join! I hit the tower (i'm a 32), actually still in the clouds (like gtav) i get invites before i even land! Sometimes i keep some blues on me to switchout armor so i get left alone! It sounds messed up, but only because I'm in the middle of doing shit & i get bombarded with blank or nightfall? Invites.
-
All you people saying this is a terrible idea just think of it. You're dining a raid with six of your best buddies, then a friend you haven't seen for a long gets destiny and invites you to a game. It automatically kicks you out of the raid you were about to beat and puts you in a game with a level 2 who has no idea what to do. this sounds awesome!!!!
-
Invites should automatically enable share play aswell
-
Awesome way to troll my friends. Invite them. They leave to go back so i invite again. Rinse repeat
-
I get invited a lot....do I want to join them....no....so bad idea lol or what If ur just about to kill crota and u get an invite?
-
On Xbox One this is already a thing. You have a 5 second window to accept the invite by pressing & holding the XBOX button, if you don't, then you aren't joined.
-
Seriously one one the worst ideas. I get an invite from someone almost every time I go to the tower. Most of the time it's a "play destiny" invite and usually it's sent to everyone in that tower.

Horrific idea. Why the -blam!- would I want to be forced to leave an activity I chose to do and join one someone else wants me to do?
-
1 RespuestaI get an invite every 10 minutes when I'm busy doing other stuff in game. It's fine the way it is.
-
2 RespuestasThere's a reason you don't make these games, your simple

Editado por xxEVILMONKYxx: 2/10/2015 9:49:06 PMLol this actually does happen. I've pulled people out of raids to have them join my lobby when I was trying to join their fireteam. Seems to happen frequently if you "Invite Party to Game" when there's 3+ people joining at the same time. Edit: I think I'm a little oblivious to the actual problem since I'm on Xbox.

Editado por Rimich: 2/10/2015 9:43:26 PMNo, no, and more noooooooooooooo.
And a little more no.
Imagine you're soloing a nightfall or something, and about to finish, but boom! You're suddenly taken into some random friend's daily our patrol! In short: no.

Did u really just say auto join but didnt THINK.?!
