Tell me your dumbest moment in Destiny. I will start...
I got some ugly boots in my first raid and dismantled them later that night because I didn't know it was that famous 'raid gear'. I learned that the next day...
Sad but true.
Did somebody do something similair or worse?
Edit 1: good sharing guardians, fun reading some of your stories haha. Best ones are deleting a very high lvl character by accident and the guy trying to open the VoG spire with his ghost lol.
Edit 2: 1500+ replies!! We all suck! Well sometimes...
Edit 3: great how this thread is still alive and trust me, I also did some of the same dumb stuff you guys told me here haha.

Two things When using the shield/ relic in VoG at Atheon. We were sent to mars, I picked up the shield and jumped into the air and hit R2 to smash the hobgoblins. My finger sliped and went flying off the map. When it was good I dismantled PI since it has a crap charge rate, I didn't know it did the fast shooting thing. Went complaining on the forums about how exotics should be better. I got a crap ton of replys calling me an idiot.

Killed the devil walker and flew over him, He exploded and flung me into the pillar splaying me like a bug across the whole thing.

Killing myself with trip mine grenades... Every time it happens I just laugh at myself... Also, not paying attention to the details of how the raid works the first few times I did it cause I was never needed to do the relic or anything else besides kill stuff... That out me behind on the knowledge side of things, but now I have it figured out for the most part.

I did the raid with my clan got raid boots and gloves didn't like the attributes and scrapped them spent a month trying to get those same pieces later doh!

The moment of panic when my Titan stopped obeying me & everyone's voices started screaming through my speakers... "Shoot it! Its right in front of you! Idiot! What are you doing!" Still keeps me awake at night.

First i checked out The loot cave what it was all about, arrived, saw 5 people shooting at a Cave, positioned myself on that hill, "incoming event" appaers on The screen, all those 5 people backed away and stood in a circle around me, i was like wtf i did? 2 seconds later that warsat crashed on my head and killed me ...

Atheon was on his last legs and I went to jump on the middle platform but fell to my death... With the relic... On my first try at the hard raid

When I pre ordered the expansions /sigh, other than that it would be during the atheon fight I ran in the portal by mistake while I was on the conflux and the other team came out when I ran back out I was a little disoriented on my position and fell right of the cliff like a newb

1 RespuestaFirst time using shoulder charge in the part of the raid after the templar, I fell behind quickly, then jumped down past the first chest with the rest of the team waiting there. Falling off the stupid crack after the jumping puzzle for the third time.

Bad habit of not paying attention while zipping around on my speeder. Have fallen into pits or off cliffs at least a dozen times.

I was suppressed by a titan grenade, didn't know it would also eliminate your special jump. So I tried jumping over a gap in the Crucible, was about to blink but you know what happens next. Lost all my heavy ammo.

Standing in the middle in front of Atheon with the shield you can shoot through. I had a brain fart and thought i was using my warlock... I was using my titan... NOT a good time for a shield you CAN'T shoot through. Yep, i'm retarded....

At atheon hard, inside the relic shield in time's vengeance, I shot a rocket. I will never forget that, LOL xD

I was in a Raid with only 4 people. We were having trouble so it was decided to go to orbit. I say "Okay, ill take us there". Went to Orbit.... Not the Fireteam Leader. Yeah...

Went to patrol on Earth, jumped on my Sparrow, turned 180 degrees, and flew off a cliff I didn't see there.

Was doing Confluxes on hard, everyone else was dead just before final legion spawn. I get killed heading for the cave. Luckily I'm on my warlock, I respawn like a boss, float over the enemies like the angel of mercy, scamper into the hidey hole. I dance I wave to my fallen allies. I get bored start throwing grenades at the harpies outside the cave... I take out my Gjallarhorn... I fire 2 rockets killing scores of fanatics... I reload. Take aim. Fire... ... Darkness... I just shot the floor in front of me. Then the laughing starts, I can't believe it, my fire team can't believe it. The laugher is replaced by sighs and dower tones. Everyone is too polite to say anything. But everyone knows it my fault. I know they know. I just wasted a hour of our time, possibly another if we do badly on the next attempts. ************ Run went well after that though, probably finished in less than 60 minutes after that.

I trashed all my weapons parts thinking I would get glimmer. Whoops super need that stuff here. Oh and that was after I beat the whole story so hundreds of parts.
