Bungie what have you created? Nobody doing the hard raid wants to take level 29s with them, the fact being level 29 gets you rejected... Despite how competent one is at this game and the raid mechanics or even, if I may, the mental capacity to wipe and retry 9000 times because of glitches in the raid.
Im on my 29 warlock (i have 2 lvl 30 titans) and was told to shut up by a level 30 because I wasn't his level... Seriously?

1 RespuestaJust hit 30. Suck my bawls you lowly 29.

1 RespuestaEditado por Noct: 11/16/2014 10:27:59 PMLet me get this straight your first run through on normal you got 3 raid pieces and this makes you better? Hahaha. I've cleared HM too many times and I finally got a 3rd armor piece last week. I agree with this post! Countless times our group has carried 30's through the raid. Lets not bull shit here... We cleared HM in 45min all 29's... I never understood this logic... Funny how many level 30's bitch about doing the relic... The only reason you even want to have a 30 is for him to run relic...

4 RespuestasJust be glad you aren't a 27. I quit.
-
Shame on you, damn elitists :(
-
1 shotted hard gate keeper straight into a 1 shot hard Atheon with a pug of 3 30s and 3 29s. I've never been in an all 30 group. I feel like your making a generalization about raid groups because you've encountered a few d-bags. There's plenty of great groups with plenty of 29s.
-
It's not that you're 29. Far from it. It's that you're not in my raid group and I only raid with them.
-
I can honestly say every time I run the raid it is with at least two Lvl 30s and four 29s. People take this Lvl 30 thing to seriously. It's dedication but rng does take the point in having skill out of it. This is coming from a guy with two Lvl 30 characters. I will take a 29 that has skill and is fun to play with over someone whom was carried to 30 any day.
-
Doesnt matter because iron banner gear will let you go to level 30 now So all you really need from the raid is one or two pieces of gear.. and 2 IB equips

Editado por Uriyaal: 11/16/2014 11:18:35 PMyou don't need to do hard to get to 30 though. I kinda don't see the point anyways. just get an exotic helm and the other pieces which are all obtainable in normal, just the helm is from Hard mode. All though I'm really starting to hate Pugs again. (pick up groups / random groups)

4 RespuestasLevel 20 is an expression of luck, not skill. Just cause you got a full set of armour after getting carried through the raid, does not make you any good, or god. We work from level 1 to get to level 29, its takes skill and dedication. The game made us work and earn and save for everything, except getting to level 30, which purely relies on luck. Its super frustrating to have to rely on luck, when you haven't even seen a purple or exotic drop in 3-4 weeks. It make a joke of the whole game. With the majority of the communtiy being elitist, and refusing to take level 29s on raids, and with the refusal to take hunters earlier this month, it seems that doing the hard raid is impossible for most people. Even normal groups are refusing to take any less than 27s I'm glad Ive got a decent bunch of guys to raid with, then we can be frustrated by RNG together.
-
I'll take a 29 if they are good and have maxed weapons
-
Coming from a level 30.... Look some of us are not elitists but guess what I'm tired of walking in to the tower and getting a shit load of messages asking me to help people.... Do it your selves guys....
-
1 RespuestaAnd those are usually bad players, when you are competent enough you don't care about playing with people 29 or even 28.
-
If you play on 360 I got lvl 30 warlock I don't mind helpin any lvl 29s at all I got 360 29s backs I'll help y'all anytime

Editado por dmn1981: 11/16/2014 10:48:39 PMIt's ironic that the lvl of someone's guardian resembles how lucky the player has been rather than how good he is ... Half of these people being rejected for not being lvl 30 would have probably turned out to be the strongest player in the team

10 RespuestasThe trick is that you really need multiple 30s so that you know one will be ported to wield the relic. Or you can try your luck with just a couple 30s and hope for the best. My group has run Atheon with just two 30s. It went alright, granted, a 30 was ported to handle the relic each time.
-
You aren't entitled to play the raid on hard. Keep doing normal until you get the gear. There's a big difference in damage and health when you go from 29 to 30. This is bungies fault not the players fault. There's nothing wrong with not wanting to carry a 29 through hard.
-
3 RespuestasNope level 29 players such at the game. Go normal till you get the gear. Blame bungie not me.
-
12 RespuestasThe real joke is the level 30 players who don't have any maxxed weapons. I take 29 over 30 any day if you gave max weapons. Seriously, if you're level 30 and don't have decent weapons you're a joke.

5 RespuestasEditado por Hochlord: 11/17/2014 1:39:28 AM*Update* Destiny is a game based long-term, it is normal that you have to master often something again ... otherwise it would If everyone would have all the same would be the game boring ... so do not complain thank you. Sry i Think Deej. It would be even better if everything would dropen rare Lg Lord

You don't need to be a 30 to complete the hard raid. In fact you don't need any 30s at all to do it. Providing every player is good and uses the relic with no delay. I'm not a 30 and I have no problem doing it if the group is good. It's the same as all the people that say 30s only on the relic! Rubbish.

1 RespuestaIt's not you it's him. Who ever told you to shut up is probably a child or pre teen who needs to make other feel bad in order to boost there own self esteem. Don't take it to heart. Some people are just jerks. Take solace in the fact that there are many kind Guardians out there who don't behave like children. Join our group SOYS. We will get you through the hard raid no problem
-
I'm usually the only 30 in the group, sometimes there's one or two others.
-
There's douches like that in every game, I would never tell someone to shut up because there character is a lower lvl. If you have input on the situation any advice is good advice. Anyone who acts like that is just a douche plain and simple.
-
Just make friends or join a group/clan that focuses on raiding. Don't rely on picking up randys who are more often than not under 18, obnoxious, and intolerant. (Most of my experiences with forum randys)

Just saying, I ran my first hard raid with all lvl 30's, who each had raid gear boosts from weapons and armor. Anyway we beat each and every encounter the first time... Critical atheon hits with my icebreaker were 8200 when at lvl 29, they now sit happily at 12700. All in all, its much easier to do the hard raid at the intended level. Not that I'm an elitist, I ran the hard raid earlier this morning with 3 lvl 29s. However we had to get in their ass's and threaten to kick them and replace them for a lvl 30. Ironically after the threat, they started playing the right way and we ended up conquering
