How long did it take YOU to get Vex Mythoclast?
I am trying to figure out the actual percentage chance that Vex will be a reward from Atheon based off of gathered user data. For me, it took exactly 10 runs of the hardmode to get Vex which makes it about a 1 in 10 chance to drop. How many runs did it take you to get it?

My little brother got it on his first hard raid where the people he went with had a glitched checkpoint and just pushed Atheon off pre patch.

3 in 10 runs.

I've got 2 of them out of around 6 hard mode completions I think. It seems to drop for at least 1 out of the 6 on the team, so you have at least a 1 in 6 chance each time I would imagine.

First one on my 4th try, seems like every time one drops, multiple in the party get one.

I lost count of how many times I've done it on hard before I finally got it. All i know is I've been doing Hardmode the last 4-5 weeks on all 3 of my characters and didntt receive one single vex until just this week. I think bungie may have heard me through party chat because I told my fireteam if I didn't get the damn gun this week I'd quit destiny forever. Maybe I should do the same with HAWKMOON

First hard atheon fight I was in we cheesed him. Got a second epilogue and chatter white for the 100th time because I already did normal. Second hard mode fight, was after the patch. Got the time breaker, the ship, and the mythoclast.

And beat him legit after playing all the way through on Hard 3 times, and I have one, so for me 20%. Usually whenever I beat him on Hard one or two players either get a helmet,myth or both, so if you work on that logic beat him on hard 6 or 7 times and he should drop one.

2nd hard raid. I also got the helm and boots and hit 30 on my main on my 3rd hard raid. 1st alt hit 30 on 2nd hard raid. 2nd alt hit 30 on 1st hard raid. (Level 1-25 in 7h 45m then 30 within a week and a half since creating the character.) I'm lucky ;)
