Following the Bungie news announcement on November 7, it certainly seemed like there was going to be some update available by Tuesday's refresh (November 11). So, where are the changes? Did anyone else think that there would be at least SOMETHING different today?

4 RespuestasNo, sorry to rain on your parade but they(Bungie) are just going to work on client side things getting ready all the servers to make sure the new patches and additions glide in smoothly. The only down side to this is that ALL servers must be offline during this upcoming maintenance. So there will be down time(Servers going offline) from 8AM-12PM Pacific Time on November 13th where players wont be able to connect. But from now until then, store your engrams, pile up your glim glam, and get set for some hours of hibernation.

2 RespuestasInside the black garden. Haven't you heard the legends?!
-
Has to be before December 3rd, so within these 2 and a half weeks we should see some big updates.
-
3 Respuestasi think we are getting them during the outage tomorrow. be sure to line up alternate activities during the outage time children... meh, today is clean house day but i will play today and clean house tomorrow lol mañana!

3 RespuestasDon't know or care when the updates are coming. They will get here when they get here. I just enjoying reading the forums. It's like a different part of the destiny experience. How many whiners, trolls, fanboys, basement dwellers and all other sorts of mouth breathers are becoming legend by being on these forums? Are their grimiore cards? Where are they? Are the forums the key to finding the chest hidden in the ass crack if VoG? Answers!!!! I demand answers!!!! I don't know how to Destiny. :(

They have scheduled maintenance Thursday. The updates will come soon.
-
1 RespuestaSanta is bringing them.

2 RespuestasEditado por SilverSmurf: 11/11/2014 4:06:48 PMDecember 9th as stated. Fixes will all land at once.
I pray this is actually true.
MCC came out today, that was a good update
-
1 RespuestaThey are going to launch them right after a day goes buy without a slew of "where is the update" threads... Better luck next week. ; )
-
1 RespuestaSomeone asked the same question last night and Deej replied to that post saying "updates will be coming now until the dlc release."
-
2 RespuestasIf you don't see dates, don't make assumptions. Anticipation based anxiety... eliminated. You are welcome.
-
Deen said starting now last night on a post
-
I think you need to reread the weekly. Because not once did they mention specifically 11/11
-
1 RespuestaWell they said "the weeks to come". And while I know not all of the things mentioned are coming out today it would be nice to see a thing or two. Like the exotic weapon buff. They have been talking about that since the first week.

Editado por AnyOLName: 11/11/2014 5:22:49 PMWhen we get the DLC. No I didn't think there would be something new today. Bungie has been averaging about 2 weeks in between fixes. If we were to get anything this month, it would be the week of the 18th or 25th. Even then I wouldn't be too surprised if they didn't release something because the DLC is so close...
-
2 RespuestasNah, they never said it would come out this Tuesday unfortunately. They mentioned it would be within the next few weeks. Which is ok since I have other games that will keep my mind off the awesomeness to come.
-
I've played online games for a long long time. Whenever patches were due, the devs/community manager at least posted to tell people that the patch had gone to QA. Bungie however, do nothing of the sort. We won't know anything at all until we actually get the update and it sucks.

4 RespuestasWas thinking the same thing. In last friday's weekly update:
http://www.bungie.net/7_Bungie-Weekly-Update---11072014/en/News/News?aid=12364
Deej said,
This week at Bungie, we “prepped some packages for deployment.”
"Packages" seemed to imply that there would be multiple updates between then and the DLC release. He also said:
We’re inbound with several bundles of joy in our hold. They’ll land in the weeks to come.
That again implied multiple updates over multiple weeks. Then again, his last words on the topic seem to imply we might have to wait a week or two before the patch itself comes (since he mentions lots of other information coming out before):
Those are the broad strokes. More detail is on the way. There will be Dev Notes and Patch Notes and love notes on our forum to explain what we mean, why we’re doing this, how it will all go down, and why we think it’s awesome. For now, we just wanted to let you know we’ve been thinking about you, and working on some game changers we hope you’ll enjoy.
1 RespuestaWeekly updates are just things Deej and Bungie talked about implementing. They aren't coming for that week unless otherwise stated.
-
I wish they would at least make a post explaining these updates and the reason we still do not have Iron banner.
-
1 RespuestaI thought they would release something to go against halo. For example maybe the next Iron banner?
-
14 RespuestasThey have been saying "updates soon" for over a month... when did they first say they were buffing thorn and bad juju?... like 2 years ago? Bungie obviously has a very slow or small team working on these updates... it is embarrassing.

1 RespuestaLet us take a look back at the last 4 weeks. There has been 1 total patch during that time. This patch essentially fixed nothing and for a span of 4 hours made the game almost unplayable. What are you really expecting out of them anymore? Unless they release a truly memorable patch today fixing a great deal of the crap that needs it, my faith in this will have dwindled to near nothing... I watch various shows updating me on future game releases and such, and so many of the interviews with the developers of these new platforms continue to say the same thing, "there will be alot of dlc for this title, and it will be free". Now I could care less about paying for dlc if it's a title that I really enjoy, Destiny falling into this category. What I can not excuse is if the time span between the games release and the first dlc, and the time between any future dlc, the bugs that arise from each release are never addressed. Why do I have to wait till a big dlc release to finally get fixes for bugs pertaining to content I no longer care about. The last patch tried to remedy a supposed "glitch" with Atheon. This method of killing him had been known for quite some time, and by the time they finally got around to fixing it most people had what they needed from the encounter. So who cared anymore? They trivialized the first Raid experience by taking so long to fix it. (I use the word fix very loosely) With the next patch (granted it ever comes), what do you think it will include? Another fix for the new Atheon cheese, a fix for the Oracle/Templar cheese? Honestly, who gives a shit about that anymore. Everyone and their dog has most items they need from this area, so concentrate your efforts on aspects of the game that will transfer into the future content. This is my rant, feel free to give your two cents or flame me if you feel the need. Maybe throw a suggestion out or topic that I may have not touched on.

Soon (tm)

Did you actually read the announcement? If so why would you think anything was coming today? I don't believe there will be an update this week, I assumed the earliest would be next week.
