Wouldn't work and people would get pissed off their topics were being put in places they didn't want them to go, especially in false positives..

And if the topic is for looking for teammates, putting it in the right spot would really just make it easier for you guys. Changing the wording on the subforums is wishful thinking, but the masses may just continue what they do. It's just a suggestion perhaps make it really specific so topics pertaining to gaming discussion don't get caught in the crossfire. Ie "looking for players" etc. Thanks for taking the time to reply, even if perhaps you being it up to the table, the admin team may have something to go on.

How about you just do your task and move these threads that gain attention yourself? You were assigned to moderate, quit being a dingus, dingus.
How about you just do your task and move these threads that gain attention yourself? You were assigned to moderate, quit being a dingus, dingus.
Insulting someone really isn't an intelligent thing to do to get your way. Lets use logical reasoning and be respectful please. Fish in a barrel. There are a handful of mods and tens of thousands of topics. I know I wouldnt want to be a mod if I wasn't allowed to interact with the community.
-
How about you just do your task
Do yours first by reporting them so I can see them.
-
Are you kidding me? Do you even know what you sound like right now? There are literally hundreds upon hundreds of Destiny threads being posted in #Gaming every ten minutes, and you are telling people to report them so you can -blam!-ing see them? Maybe you should look at things from our point of view. For the past two months we've been telling the newbies to post in the right forum, and all we've gotten is hostility. We have asked this website's mods to do something, and all we were told was to report and move on. I have even reported countless "l00king for grop v0g huehuehue" threads in #Gaming, but guess what happens? The threads pop back up day after day after day. It's not enough to keep asking us of the same thing. You need to do your damn job.
-
The threads pop back up day after day after day.
Uh, they're appearing quite a lot faster than that. What you don't seem to realise or understand is that even if we were moving topics every single day, it wouldn't make a shred of difference because of the new topics popping up or the existing ones being pushed to the top. If you want to see what's being done, I implore you to read the latest weekly update.
-
Do you not scroll the forums? Perhaps you cannot read. If you just scroll down for about three seconds, you can spot at least one. My god, you're an idiot.
-
I don't see any in #offtopic right now. If you do, report them and you won't have to see them any more.
-
Wow. They made this guy a Ninja? Man, Bungie really has reached an all-time low.
-
They made him a Ninja quite a while ago actually. I didn't like him back then either.
-
Gag. I remember a few years ago when Ninjas were actually useful and they actually tried.
-
Yep. The only Ninjas I see anymore are Recon, Daz, and True; and I only occasionally see True because he's a member of my group.
-
Now you're just projecting.
-
No that would be your lack of insight. Someone clearly doesn't pay attention to what this community... comunicates... Which would lead me to the belief of what I just stated in my last response.
-
That's an interesting response considering I've never said the current situation wasn't a problem. In fact on multiple occasions I've empathised with other users and plainly said it was. The point I'm making here is that we moderators simply can't do anything about them, yet you continue to blame us for it; it's entirely disingenuous on your part.
-
The point I'm making here is that we moderators simply can't do anything about them,
Well there's the -blam!-ing problem. Until the forum descriptions are updated (which I was FULLY aware of thank you very much), the least you can do is give us some damn help. Make a directory thread in each forum, move a couple pages a day, do something instead of nothing.
-
We've already tried doing that and it turned out to be a fruitless effort.
-
You can't do anything about them? You mean the high and mighty moderaters can't moderate? Well this is a new concept.
-
No, I mean it was ultimately a pointless effort because we've tried before and: 1) New topics are made too quickly; and 2) There already isn't/wasn't enough people making on-topic posts to replace the ones we removed.

I don't know how your volunteer job sounds, but I can't imagine trying to be one mod on deleting that many.
-
> implying it would make any difference in #gaming right now.

Then do something. Ask the webteam to divert anything with Vault in the title to Destiny, as somebody already suggested. ANYTHING would be better than this. Ninjas can't constantly moderate because they have other things to do? Get some temps and tackle this thing head on. Get DeeJ to address it directly in a Weekly Update or make a thread about it. Anything. People have suggested multiple ways to solve this issue and the staff here have taken NONE of them. If people saw Bungie employees and the Ninjas actively trying to stop this, then they'd stop. Start threatening to ban people. You don't even have to ban anybody, just say that you will and the word will spread.
-
Get DeeJ to address it directly in a Weekly Update or make a thread about it.
Apparently you haven't been reading them.

Make me a ninja. I'll Ip ban everyone posting #Destiny stuff in gaming. I shall be the savior.
