Today I finished the bounty for Bad JuJu...Is it worth leveling? It looks freakin' awsome btw...with the green light coming off and the kickass skull on top. Only louzy thing is the small clip though.
Thanks for your replies.

I like it but doesn't really become helpful ever until you get it really well leveled

5 RespuestasThe green smoke coming off of it is distracting.... Worst weapon design ever. Bungie do you guys even use your own weapons?

"I got Bad Juju today..." My condolences. But seriously the gun sucks. It was my first exotic weapon, hell all of m exotic weapons were bounties (bad juju, invective, and thorn). Of those 3 thorns by favorite as the slow reload can somewhat circumvented with my chain of woe and small magazine forces you to be accurate. Plus I prefer primary exotics and until xur sells another exotic primary or in the rare case icebreaker again, I'll be just stockpiling my coins (33 right now). Hopefully the buffs come this upcoming for them if not I'll stick to shorn and my A1 steaksauce/invective if need be.

I have just finished this bounty too, my first one as well :) Not used it yet but will be hanging onto it & trying it out tomorrow
-
Hang on to it till we all see what the alleged buff is going to be. I've had mine for quite a while now and never bothered leveling it yet as its terrible
-
The answer to your question depends on a few things. First, do you like pulse rifles in general? Second, are you okay with Bad JuJu generally being a mob killer weapon and not really useful against hardened targets (bosses and such)? Third, are you looking to have a highly effective gun, or just a kickass looking weapon? Bad JuJu is a nice gun when fully upgraded, the only reason I switched from it was to level up my Thorn. Plus it is due for a buff (someday), so definitely don't dismantle it. If you don't feel like upgrading it yet, then stash it in your vault and wait for the buff patch. And if you do upgrade it, just use it when appropriate. I wouldn't use it against bosses, or take it into the Vault of Glass personally. There are much better choices for those scenarios.

I remember seeing a comment about how Thorn and Bad Juju should have their perks swapped around. That would be a good idea.
-
You can tell everyone who is complaining about it didn't level it up and have no idea what they are talking about. Yes, the gun is terrible when you first get it but its pretty awesome when you fully upgrade it. I have no problem running through dailies and strikes with rarely ever having to reload, except on bosses and shielded enemies, the low clip size doesn't matter when it automatically reloads on every kill. It is also a killer in the crucible since its even more of a balanced weapon there. Just don't take it on raids or Iron Banner.

2 RespuestasGot it done a little while ago myself. Love the way it looks. But yes, the small clip size is absolutely ridiculous. How are you going to have a pulse rifle that can be fired in full auto, with 15 bullets, 5 bursts... :/
-
I'd wait for the buff and judge then unless of course you have nothing you need to level right now. It looks nice but it's quite impractical. Low clip size won't kill an enemy above level 10 even when fully upgraded so the exotic perk is entirely useless. The green smoke coming off of it mixed with a green cross-hair actually makes aiming difficult at times. It's badly designed for gameplay but aesthetically it's beautiful.

I'm holding mine until the buff, whenever that is.
-
I just got it as well, it's a nice little face melter. the ammo is a bit too low but I'm hoping string of curses helps balance that out.
-
I like it if I'm going solo against weak mobs. If you're with a group and they start killing the mobs you weaken, you'll be reloading often.
-
Unlock the curse of strings and it's completely worth it. most underrated gun in the game.
-
It's good for solos with String of Curses. Needs a buff for group PvE, decent weapon overall, though.

Editado por Fingernageldreck: 11/9/2014 8:27:05 PMCurrently i dont know any exotic/legendary that performs as bad as bad juju. So lets say it this way, if there is any gun thats NOT worth upgrading its bad juju. Edit: but dont scrap it, bungie already said its getting buffed. So it might become a decent weapon one day...
-
Looks awesome, but sadly its trash. I wouldnt waste the ascendant energy
-
Wait for the buff from Bungie. It might be worth it then.
-
I have it, but I haven't even touched it ever since I got it. I'm scared to use it since I don't want to be disappointed with it... It's just such a bad ass gun... However all I can say about it is that through reviews the string of curses is the only thing that makes it an okay gun... However recoil is pretty bad, small clip size and the low impact doesn't make it that versatile of a weapon.
-
1 RespuestaIt looks and feels awesome and is fun and rewarding when used well. That being said it's ridiculously underpowered for an exotic with legendary pulse rifles outperforming it. If you feel inclined I'd level it up until you have to start using ascendant energy then hold onto it. If the buff is worth how long we've been waiting for it then it'll be worth using as your primary. Until that point though I wouldn't bother using it consistently.

5 RespuestasFrom everything on the Internet and on YouTube that gun is worth the keep I wish I got bad juju instead of the pocket infinity.
-
Bad juju would be good with higher clip but other than that it's only a vanity item cisoin of confluence is the best scout for pve out there.
-
7 RespuestasSucks for you
-
String of curses makes it marginally useful for like tiger strikes and story missions, but it's awful for anything remotely hard like weekly heroic, nightfall or raid. The impact is too low and the magazine is too small.
-
Hold on to it. They have said they plan to buff it, but were not specific as to when. It's worth a vault slot until then, or to give to a secondary character when they hit 20.
