Girlfriend of the year!
So I've been spending a lot of time on Destiny since release. Almost more than half the time I've spent with my own girlfriend. Everyday I work or am at home playing Destiny. And she doesn't mind, she loves the way it looks and the rpg element in it. Constantly wishes she could play fps games better.
So what did she do? I feel most women would be pissed off that their boyfriend would spend a lot of their time playing video games. But she doesn't. In fact, she was out with her friend yesterday and saw a Destiny armband and got it for me because she knew how much I like this game.
On top of it, she wants to Cosplay Destiny characters together next year for comic con.
She's a keeper

4 RespuestasThere is some cautionary truth to being careful with this, though. While she's supportive right now, you need to think future. By that I don't necessarily mean "ring", but more like how you can make her part of your gaming life. Get her Destiny and play with her. She expressed interest but even if she "sucks" at the game, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you're both enjoying it together. She won't be playing with you all the time, but she will appreciate the time together. And heck, Cosplay Destiny together. Otherwise, I guarantee you that it's only a matter of time before she gets tired of you spending more time on games than her. Either do it together, or be prepared for something to potentially (negatively) change in the future. If you already know this, then good for you. If you're going to deny this could be an issue, then I'm afraid you're naive.

I'm with you bud. My gf enjoyed watching me play destiny and really wanted to play as well. So a 60" 4k tv and an xb1 later and we're playing side by side now! In fact she just hit Lvl 20 with her warlock last night! Cheers.

2 RespuestasThat's pretty awesome! I can understand why some would be upset, if my boyfriend never gave me any attention and just wanted to play 24/7 I'd be pretty sad... But I actually play Destiny more than my boyfriend! He lives at school and has all his classes to go to...My schooling doesn't start until January so I have all the time in the world to play lol. When he comes to see me on the weekends we always spend our time together. I don't ever play Destiny when I know I need to have time with him. My boyfriend is actually working on his Warlock cosplay...I have yet to start my Hunter lol. I'm so happy you haven't gotten any rude comments....I was almost scared to read them and then I saw they were all pretty positive :)

5 RespuestasMy girlfriend got jealous and wanted to play with me so after about a week she went and bought the Destiny PS4 and we set up another TV next to our living room one to play together. She kicks ass on FPS on PC but she is getting the hang of it on console. Couples that play together stay together.

2 RespuestasI work everyday alot and the time i spend with my gf she WANTS me to play destiny all the time, she calls her self the 2nd player bless her she loves watching me play raids and loves PVP, she even goes out and buys me food (which I never ask for ) shes a keeper ;D

I'm happy for you! I've got a fiancé just like that she plays with me at some points is actually better than me. We rage together at the game lol we've played other shooters together as well and rpgs she's very cute and absolutely has a perfect personality loves to cosplay at events with me last one we went to it was asuna and kirito (I know very mainstream but it was sappy and fun come on lol) although every now and then we turn the games off to go on dates and have fun .irl it's good to get away from the virtual world........until they come out with nerve gear

Mine... Bought me my PS4 & Destiny Plays it whenever she can with me on her own console Has already pre-ordered both of us DA:I and GTAV Oh, and she also got me Civ Beyond Earth, because I wanted it :D Best. Girlfriend. Ever.
