I'll get the DLC once I've played through all the regular content. Which I can't, as you need 5 other friends online and in Destiny to access the Vault of Glass.
This might work for students, but with my working class limited spare time, it is not a not an option.
Please add matchmaking to raids, then we can talk about throwing some more money your way.

Matchmaking would be pointless after they made the Atheon teleport random/broken. All my lvl 29+ just refuse to run the raid with anyone they don't know anymore. I think they -blam!-ed the "social game" they wanted even more. Cause you know how socialable you can be without being able to talk to your strike team......
-
I work fulltime 40+ a week i'm 32 with child and I beat the raid 3 times a week. It isn't that bad lol

Editado por candy-coloured: 11/4/2014 2:14:46 PMAs someone who has played the Raid (successfully and unsuccessfully) many times I can honestly say that matchmaking would be a very bad idea. The Raid is tough, and unless you're playing with people who, A) know EXACTLY what they're doing, and, B) have maxed out armour and weapons, you will be in for a very frustrating ride. The amount of times my raid has been ruined time and time again because of one weak link in the team was infinite. Trust me, one bad player can mean the difference between beating Atheon in 30 minutes and beating him in 4 hours. Matchmaking means you'll constantly be playing with people who don't know what they're doing and are at low levels. It also means that you'll be playing with people who quit after an hour, meaning you'll be at least one team member short.
-
Why be against matchmaking? You don't have to use it if it's there. Let others have the opportunity. I was lucky enough to find a group to raid, but not everyone can. It may not be the best group but at least they get to try it. If it doesn't harm your raid, let others enjoy more of the limited content.
-
Agreed, tbh, why even have an opinion? Just be like "good luck".

Editado por candy-coloured: 11/4/2014 2:18:51 PMWhy am I against matchmaking? Didn't I just explain? I'm not saying they shouldn't put it in, I'm just saying that I understand why they're not putting it in. Personally I think it would be a big mistake that would frustrate people even more than the feature being absent. You're damn right I won't use it if they ever do decide to implement it. Also it's easy to find a raid group. Simply visit the Bungie forums and put up an add; for example "Raid, normal mode, right now, lv.29+ only", and I guarantee that you'll have a full team in less than 15 minutes.
-
If you can guarantee it, then can you give me my 15 minutes back please? Because I've tried several times and most people just mess me around. The other thing to mention is that I have no idea what to do in the raid. I don't want to ruin the fun by watching it all on YouTube before I do it, but I also don't want people to write me off just because I'm new to it.
-
For real? I've done it several time now, and I filtered out the lv.26 guys who weren't high enough. Everyone else was very eager to play and get it done. It's such a rare activity, so most people don't want to mess around with it. What level are you? If you don't want to ruin the fun you should read a guide. It will tell you exactly how to beat the boss without spoiling it. Everything else comes with experience.
-
I'm level 28. My problem is that I work full time and have kids so it tends to be late at night when I get on, and I can't do more than a couple of hours. So then when I spend half hour trying to organise a raid I end up short on time to play. With matchmaking at least I might do a check point or two.
-
That's a good point. Can't help you there.

Editado por Jastier: 11/4/2014 1:44:32 PMDestinylfg.net is your friend. Easy to use and usually find a group within 5 minutes of posting. I just use my tablet at home to load up the page and watch it for people posting LFM after I post a LFG message. Either way I always end up finding a group.
-
You can always go to destinytracker.com, always people thirsty for raiding. I've done the raid 30 times myself. Nothing special about it.
-
There's this thing called "groups" on this app and allows you to talk to other players and they can help you with the raid
-
Thanks, I'll give it a try. Still nothing like spontaneous match making when time is right (IMHO)
-
No problem but in my opinion, matchmaking won't be good because you will get people who don't have mics and who are under levelled.
-
Editado por Stickman Al: 11/4/2014 6:34:05 PMCould they maybe implement matchmaking but have it with options, rather than just randomly assigning you a team? You could have the option to kick players before the game or to search for another team if you find some people in the lobby aren't using a mic for example, or are under leveled. You could have a vote to kick players in case they go afk or are just useless. There are a lot of options that exist in other games that are more complex than just "here you go, 5 random team members". So, to me, just saying it wouldn't work is dismissing it before it has been properly discussed.
-
You have a good point
-
Agreed.

What console you on?
