How does one become gay?
Is it passed on due to genetics, is it a genetic mutation, or is just choice?

It's speculated that it's part nature and nurture. And it's most certainly not a choice, if you like the same gender you like the same gender, if you don't you don't.

2 RespuestasThis is speculation, but I believe people are homosexual due to an anomaly in the brain. It is not a choice, as there are many animals in the wild that are, in fact, homosexual. There is something in our brain that triggers a sexual reaction to another sex. However, as the human develops in the beginning, we are genderless. I think, as a baby forms, this sexual coding becomes misplaced while the gender of the baby is still coming into fruition. Thus, the body becomes attracted to the same gender by mistake.

There are arguments for both, what you are asking is an age old question; "Nature VS Nurture" I personally believe it can be both, there is evidence to support this, personally I think it is more nature though, something that proves this would be the proportionality between your index finger and your ring finger. 9/10 straight males have a noticeable difference in the length of these two fingers due to the increased amount of testosterone they were exposed to in the womb. 9/10 homosexual males do not have this difference due to lower amounts of testosterone exposure in the womb, thus showing that it could well be a biological cause. The same trend is true for women however the conditions are opposite. This is only a trend however and isn't 100% true, however bit is 90% of the time. Influence from your surroundings may also effect your sexuality, even if it is only kidding ones self into believing they are one thing or another.
