What in the world do I have to do to get that raid gear I'm tired of getting ascendant shards and energy !!

Not always, but I've done the raid 5 times (twice on hard, 3 normal) and out of the 5 chests only 2 gave gear out to people. It was the 2nd person both times who collected loot. And at the end we get ships/sparrows and the same dam shadder again. On normal I've never seen someone get gear.

Thanks for the info. I've trying to figure out what to do cuase I've beaten the VoG couple of times on hard and normal and the most I've gotten is the leg armor, apart from that it's been the epilogue, the shader and the legendary ships. Also to doesn't help to not have a stable team. Keep trying until bungie's "rewarding experience finally arrives" lol.
