Petition to get back the current PS exclusives and the new PS exclusive strike in "The Dark Below" before Fall 2015!!
Firstly, thanks Bungie for letting Activison announce this and not yourselves.. great respect for the community there!
I love this game. and slowly through patching I'm starting to see the full potential of this game come to life..
Now down to the gritty stuff.
I don't understand why as an Xbox One player I am going to have to wait until fall 2015 for the 2 strikes that are ps exclusive. 1. Dust Palace. and 2. The undying Mind (Dark below content) this will mean that you are denying Xbox gamers just over a quarter of all the Strike content for Destiny! its not fair. (by the way Xbox gamers make up the majority of your community today and actually have made up almost the entirety of your community since 2002!!!)
As an Xbox gamer I am going to have to pay the same amount as a PlayStation gamer for each expansion but get less content??
is this really fair? I would understand if there was exclusive content on either system but there just isn't I am out of pocket!
I understand that there are contracts in place etc with Sony but surely this can be rectified if enough people agree and enough pressure is put on Bungie/Activision.
I think its time that timed exclusives in games that are across multiple platforms were properly regulated.

The extra strike is not part of the dlc, it is being released at the same time but I imagine it will be part of an xbox exclusive dlc to come out next year.

Then like all the other games exclusive to their systems we should get the content promised to Sony for free or like COD a month after. Not a year later or never it's suppose to fair to a degree.. I understand the contract to a specific system but be even not releasing it to us for a yr is just plain stupid planning and will loose business.

Personally I don't agree with exclusive content on cross platform games... Its the same evil as the dlc... Both of which are killing video games. That being said though... Its just how it is now. Marketing and money... I remember when I had to wait a month for cod content and thought it was bs... Sometimes its in ur favor and sometimes not.. This time looks like not. Only way to fix this would be to ban together as gamers and not purchase games from companies with such practices... Activision as a whole is the main enemy here and cares nothing about customers.. Money is all they care about and any decision they make will be the one that makes more.

I say no, I have a PS4. anybody that bought a Xbox One Destiny knew that ps4 has exclusives, you had a choice and it has been made. now you just have to live with it

There is an exclusivity contract between Sony and Bungie/Activision for exclusive content. Sony probably paid a huge amount of money for this. No petition is going to change that. Microsoft has done the same thing for many, many games on Xbox 360. It's business.

Sony paid for exclusives, just like how Microsoft pays for Xbox users to get Call of Duty DLC a month earlier than PSN. If you want to petition or cry to anyone, do it to Microsoft. Also, Playstation is only getting ONE extra strike. The story is terrible in this game to begin with so it's not like you're going to miss out on anything. Just one less strike in the tiger playlist.

2 RespuestasYou know the only reason Xbox users made up the community because of a legal binding contract with Microsoft preventing Bungie to produce any other game on any other platform? It may suck but a petition unfortunately in this case won't do anything, everyone has a free choice which platform they buy and Sony has put it's chips on Destiny winning them sales.

1 RespuestaPersonally if they where going to going to do exclusive content, the current exclusive should be unlocked upon the release of the first dlc, and the first dlc exclusives unlocked with the release of DLC, it's timed exclusive without the abnormally long wait that is just detrimental to the xbox players experience of the game due to missing content. Keep in mind that is a "what they should have done with timed exclusive". As a PS player even I see that Xbox is getting the short straw here… Sorry Bungie but as much as I like Destiny, this exclusive content situation needs to change.

9 RespuestasI'm surprised you can find players on Xbone, only 6 million sold as of now compared to PS4s 12 million sold... Xbots need to get over it, you got a full game timed exclusive called Rise of the Tomb Raider plus all you kids on Xbox have timed COD dlc each and every year so get over your selves and think to your selves how PS users have to wait for a full game a year or more and have to wait a month for each cod dlc. Xbots have been spoiled as far as game exclusives and timed, its time to admit your not the center of the gaming universe.

The Xbox community is so used to their "exclusive treatment". Just chill. You'll eventually get it. Your not getting shafted. Stop raging. But then again.. What do I care... Im on PlayStation!!

Sucks for XBox fans, but even legal reasons aside that would rob a paying customer (Sony) just to satisfy a fraction of the playerbase that may or may not buy the DLC. There can be as many petitions as some people want, but that deal is already made.

My issue isn't so much with missing the extra content as it is with having to pay the same price. How about this I'll sell you one hamburger today for the price of two but if you come back to this exact spot in one year I'll give you the second hamburger.

I have a feeling that the Xbox players will miss out again with the release of the second DLC, calling it an "expansion" at this point is laughable. People are pissed for good reason, they paid the same amount of money for the same pass but are not going to get the same content cause they don't play on the preferred console. On top of that they will have to pay extra for the left out content cause it was not included with the pass. It's shit like this that is ruining gaming for everyone.
