The patch has gone live and Aethion now teleports 3 random people. I look forward to this new challenge. Good news I have a plan.
1) Instead of 3 people going to the back, 3 people should go to the right plate and 3 to the left plate. This way, there is only a 5% chance that there will be no one at the gate we need to open when the teleport happens.
2) Everyone will be ranked from 1 to 6 on there ability with the relic. 1 is the highest six is the lowest.
3) When you get teleported you say your number (not your name) and listen for the numbers of the other people.
4) If you are the highest ranked person you pick up the relic and call desert or jungle.
5) If you are not the highest ranked person, get ready to shoot oracles and call desert or jungle.
6) The people in the present still need listen for desert or jungle.
7) One person in the present will say that they will open the portal the other 2 people will spread out and focus on supplicants. (The person who calls opening the portal still needs to help with the supplicants, but his first priority is opening the portal.)
8) When the time travelers get back through the portal we all meet in the middle.
9) Rinse and repeat.

It does not matter what you call the different sides. Go ahead and call them Jungle/Desert, Green/Brown, Right/Left, Venus/Mars, or even Rainbows/Unicorns for all I care. Just as long as your team knows which portal to open. P.S. Despite my promotion of diversity, I must point out that both portals are Venus. The difference is what point in time are you there on Venus. Part of the proof is that Aethion controls and manages time for the Vex. Also think about what Venus is like right now. Is it hard to imagine the Traveler's terraforming might wear off and revert to how it was?

We used this strategy, worked perfectly on hard. When you are in the middle tho, just make sure that the relic holder is all the way at the front of that platform or else you risk being killed by splash damage

I was actually using this exact technique on hard. It works very good. The hard part is finding people who don't make stupid mistakes. On our best run we got atheon down to 10% and we called it a night. So I know for a fact that this technique definitely works. It helps to have a titan with weapons of light sheild as well. They should put it in the middle next to the person with the relics sheild. So that they are touching a little. It adds nearly 50% to your damage. Also need a scatter plan for the end of weapons of light. It is more frustrating now because of the random teleport now cause we had time when 4-6 got teleported and it didn't work out. I think this will also require people to be a 30 for someone to even want them on their team. Not everyone on my team was 30. I think we would have beat it tonight if everyone was.
