Is destiny going to die?
Is destiny going to die out like titanfall and watch dogs? Personally I love this game and hope it doesn't fail, but today I went to a game store and I was just browsing and the amount of pre owned Destinys is ridiculous not to mention how many more they have in the back...

Titanfall isn't dead. People play that game every day. Hell, people still play CoD 4 every day still.

Not completely, but the user base will diminish quite a bit. People are still playing Titanfall on Xbone as of the other week, mind you full lobbies were hard to come by.

Oh absolutely!! I don't think anyone was expecting a came with no story, at least in my case. I can careless about dlc's. I'm switching over to PC gaming thanks to Bungie!! So I did gain something. I'll stick to MMORPG, at least then I'll get my moneys worth and an actual storyline and game play that can actually last a decade!!

It will not die as in be a complete failure of a game, but at the rate it is going now I don't think it will ever get to a halo or COD type level of popularity. I know that games as popular as halo and cod are few and far between, but destiny was hyped as just that kind of game. Unless they make some real changes in the coming months/years, I do not think Destiny 2 will sell nearly as many copies as Destiny 1 did. I play Destiny almost every day. I like it a lot. However, if bungie wants this game to be remembered as anything more than "a pretty fun game that got boring after a while" they need to change things.

Don't forget to add the digital copies that can't be returned. After the company cut content to just resell it to players I honestly hope the game dies. The game is fun but the greedy company killed it.

Yea..even though I like the game, a lot more people don't and so Destiny will die. I will play for as long as this game lives.

Way too little, way too late. I have already bought the expansions because I (unfortunately) bought the digital guardian edition and I still won't be playing this. I have just deleted destiny from my hard drive. It's not September anymore, there are games to play now, I will have sunset overdrive in 2 days (Europe), then assassins creed to distract me for a few days and then finally Dragon Age! And whenever I want some shooting I will have the master chief collection. And 2015 is packed with good games. Good ridance destiny, good ridance bungie, you really messed up. You have the community, you just don't have the game. So long and thanks for all the fish.

10 RespuestasEditado por WISH I WAS DEAD: 10/27/2014 6:04:53 PMI played the shit out of Destiny since it came out (check my play time) and I thought that I was one of the people who stay with the hand when all the new ones came out, but after I reached level 30, I decided to play a different game for a little bit of a change. I popped back in GTA V and now I can't even see myself going back to destiny. Not the it isn't a great game, I love it, it's just that the all the grinding a repetitive game play is VERY addictive, but it is not actually fun. I challenge everyone here to take a break from Destiny, even if it's just for a couple hours and play a different game. Once again, I love Destiny and have no complaints about it, I just think everyone should take a step back and ask themselves "Am I REALLY having fun?"

12 RespuestasTitanfall may not be huge, but it still has a solid community on Xbox One. Destiny is thriving right now. Most games dip a month or two after release. In December the numbers will skyrocket with DLC and Christmas break. The curtain call is far from happening. And a couple weeks ago when they said they had 3.2 million people online once, that is only a fraction of the total people who play. 3.2 is just at peak.
