What's the big deal about lvl 30 pvp gear? Since the game came out people have been complaining about RNG, and since the raid started a lot of pve players have been left out of full lvl 30 gear after clearing the raid every week. Now suddenly there's going to be an (almost) absolute way to obtain the gear we need, as if directly addressing the RNG problem. And yet there's STILL complaining. I'm not even a pvp player, in fact I'm pretty bad at the pvp nor do I really like it, but I'm excited to give it another go just because it sounds like they listened to what the community wanted. Why not keep an open mind about it?

2 RespuestasThe only thing that makes me sad is that all the cool stuff is going to PvP. PvE tends to get the shaft as far as updates. Loot Cave-gone(don't really care), mythoclast nerf(boost on its way), same basic stuff since launch. PvP has gotten all the attention for nerds and buffs, and has so many events; ie iron banner, salvage playlist, bungie bounty. The queens bounties were ok, and great for newly level 20 players, but my 29 has no use for those things from the queen. Looking forward to the DLC and love the game. Just want a bit more for PvE :)

5 RespuestasEditado por Liammozz: 10/26/2014 10:50:01 AMPvEers complaining about loot drops in the raid Bungie puts it in PvP where less than 2% of players play more than 3 matches a day. See how that's stupid. It's also going against every RPG to date Gear obtained in PvP has never and should never be viable in PvE end game.

6 RespuestasEditado por EvilKungFu: 10/26/2014 10:40:40 AMI think it's because now people can hit 30 with literally one piece of raid gear, all because the small pvp crowd cried that having to pve for 30, in a pve focused game, isn't fair.

1 RespuestaYou can't please everyone. No matter what devs do someone will complain.

People get mad because it's the cool thing to do.

2 RespuestasI could care less about the level. I hate the loot system. I hate the weapon and armor parts sitting in my vault unused because I have nothing to upgrade. Hundreds of parts. Multiple stacks. I hate the story. Enough said. I hate how I've not met a single interesting and meaningful NPC in game. I hate how my ship is nothing but a load screen. I hate how my Ghost is a non - interactive artificial intelligence. I hate how my characters have no opinions, dialog or choices to make and the fact that I am not emotionally attached to it at all. I hate that I'm forced to leave the game world and made to search 3rd party sites and forums to talk to people and find a way to do group content that doesn't already have a matchmaking system. Bottom line, I could be typing all night about what I don't like. What do I like? The combat is fun. Cruicible is enjoyable enough. Leveling weapons is nice. The gun play is great. Some class specs are really enjoyable. The art is fantastic. That's. . That's about it.

3 Respuestasi just see it as more people trying hard mode that either have no idea what there doing and should be doing normal mode or just don't have enough experience to survive at parts that need everyone alive which is like every part if doing legit.

2 RespuestasBecause now they won't look like everyone else therefore someone might look cooler than theeem

1 RespuestaEditado por TheWolph: 10/26/2014 9:12:45 AMIt's like you read my mind or something. It's ludicrous the amount of people mad about this.

7 RespuestasI like the idea of more armor options to reach level 30 for the superficial fact that now there will be different combonations/ways to make your titan, hunter or warlock look unique instead of a carbon copy of eachother. Honestly if Iron Banner doesn't offer a helmet I like, I'll probably stay level 29 because I like the way my current helmet looks. Probably sounds dumb, but it's true.

If people want to stay on top of the mountain, its their skills that lands them there. But some people are crap shooters like myself, and rely greatly on gear. These people fear others who share the same perks from equipment. The fear of losing a game of crucible, the fear of others having a higher K/D ratio. Fear is a powerful emotion. An energy that makes people become....weak.

5 RespuestasBecause they are entitled fools. Who cares HOW people reach 30? More 30's in your party = faster wins = more efficient gaming
-
3 RespuestasBecause elitism. Its not like tonnes of people wouldnt hit 30 eventually... Ignore the children.

1 RespuestaPeople suck, they will always complain. Especially since they are I front of a phone/computer! #ihatepeople
-
1 RespuestaHonestly people just like to complain until they are blue in the face. If it's not about gear they will find something else

5 RespuestasWhen you say "they listened to the community" you mean the whiney little PvPers right? It's funny because I just saw a poll on here recently where 89% said they preferred PvE over PvP yet Bungie for whatever reason will cater to the PvPers everytime they bitch and moan which is quite often.

1 RespuestaYou realize it will be usable for two slots only. So you still have to have a raid piece
