Gotta love how everyone thinks this is true. And that Bungie actually did cut content.

Editado por Capt Explodabob: 10/23/2014 7:06:57 AMGotta love how people (Desticles) refuse to believe the facts, even when said facts are right in front of them.
-
Pfft. I was here before the Desticles came. Lurked before Destiny was announced. And joined when. It was. I don't believe it. Because it's all speculation. And until confirmed otherwise. I won't believe it.
-
Confirmed by who?
-
Bungie/Activision
-
Except you can clearly glitch into these places right now... Except people have encountered the UI bug which proves that these areas are locked content...
-
I never said they weren't in the game. Those nodes are placeholders. Some don't even have descriptions or a proper name.
-
Editado por Capt Explodabob: 10/23/2014 8:09:21 AMSo fully textured, already named areas that have hitboxes and enemies in them are "placeholders"? That doesn't even make any sense. Why do they need placeholders for content you're not meant to see yet? The sad thing is, besides the areas already found via glitching, we know that there are at least six more locked away areas from the trailers.
-
The stories, voice acting. All those need to be in it. IIRC, only one locked area has enemies. And what trailers? Not the old ones, right? Because I bet those places are gone for good. I saw The Citadel in one.

Editado por Capt Explodabob: 10/24/2014 6:59:25 AMExcept we know that Strikes and missions in Destiny consist solely of the area you fight in and enemies, and, considering that the Fallen in King's Watch all have the same character models as the other Fallen in-game, we can extrapolate that the other, already made areas are going to recycle skins too. I'd also like to point out that you just acknowledged that there is already one area locked away on the disc that is--and was--ready for release right now... the only problem is that Bungie likes the taste of money.
-
I never said it was finished. We can't get into it. And it doesn't seem that big. It's for a story mission I know that. So yeah, it is locked, but only because the content inside it is not finished. The area may not even be finished even if it looks so.
-
You have to be f/ucking trolling me now because there's no way anybody could be so stupid as to believe that. We've known about these areas since the ALPHA, so unless it has taken Bungie over two months to add in markers, we know that the content is ready.
-
You probably wouldn't be convinced that a murderer murdered someone until he confesses to it, despite there being a mountain of evidence... Bungie is the murderer in this scenario. You'd be damned to expect them to admit to such a thing, or in your case, full-blown retarded
-
-
There is no evidence suggesting they cut content to sell. The DLC we are getting has been in development since before the game came out more than likely. If you want to call that cut content. Go ahead.
-
Common sense and knowledge of sales and marketing strategies are the proof. Kind of like buying an iphone 5 when the real product was the iphone 5s but the product was pushed out so delays and rescheduling the release didn't happen. With a release delay comes with more people mad at the developer then the people using common sense to see the glove doesn't fit.
-
? That's not opinion its fact. The game was not completed and they released the rest as DLC. It is on the disc/initial download, it was deemed to be DLC. Now a lot of folks are saying this is common practice, I personally haven't seen it before particularly from Bethesda but they're two different companies. So I would be willing to accept this if the main story had been in any way substantial, unfortunately it was not. And it certainly was not delivered as advertised
-
Don't get substantial confused with not very good... There was plenty of story just no focus on a protagonist, which left it feeling scattered and unrewarding.
-
It's not fact. Because we don't know what happened. Other than parts of the game were cut, or remade. For all we know, Destiny never even had a great story. People see that scene with the Queens brother and assume the story must have been great.
-
That scene was fin stupid, I'm glad they cut it and whatever other dribble.
-
Well atleast more interesting than it is now.
-
Maybe so.
-
See for yourself in December when you buy it and you only have a 2 megabyte download. That will be your proof that it was on the disc.
-
Yeah. We will see.
-
Im not saying the story was remade, just that the DLC was on disc at launch and it was deemed to be dlc. Bungie had also said that it will be a continuation of the main story. It is fact the the incomplete DLC is on disc.

Editado por JOSH55886: 10/23/2014 7:33:24 AMWell yeah. More than likely. Bungie had a team working on DLC before the rest of Bungie even finished working on Destiny.
