Something that could really give me a reason to spend motes of light on the Speaker's class items would be giving my bond a stat boost. I've only played a couple RPG's in my time, but I always liked
tweaking stats of players. I've compiled a small list of stat boosts I'd like to see.
Keep in mind, I'm thinking a 5-10% boost to one (maybe two for legendary items) of these things:
-Luck
-Primary/Special/Heavy Weapon Attack
-Magic Attack
-Melee Attack
-Melee Range
-Grenade/Super blast radius
-Weapon Defense
-Magic Defense
-Melee Defense
-Specific Elemental/Burn Defense
-XP earned
-HP
-LP for leveling up weapons, armor, or subclass faster
-Weapon Stability
-Weapon Accuracy
-Magazine Size
-Reload Speed
-Super Cooldown
-Grenade Cooldown
-Melee Cooldown
-Toughness
-Agility
-Recovery
-Weapon Damage vs Majors/Ultras/Bosses
-Weapon Damage vs specific enemy types/races
-Burn Damage (arc, solar, or void) added to primary/special/heavy weapons
-Glimmer Drop
-Duration of Super
What stat boosts would you like to see?
Maybe the Speaker's class items could focus on class specific boosts (things that help with specific super/melee/grenade abilities), Vanguard class items could focus on general attack/defense boosts, and faction class items could boost what their gear is already aimed toward (boost certain weapons they sell, or strength/discipline/intellect boosts that coincide with armor they sell).

It feels line there is only a small handful of class items anyway. I get the same exact Titan marks constantly. I did however get a legendary warlock piece the other day. Of course, I don't even had a warlock.

As stated in another thread there should be exotic class items having special perks on them like enabling to wear 2 exotic pieces of armour for example (or getting 2 Supers for one awesome stuff like that). Those perks would have to be PvE exclusive of course.

Make it 2% boost and ill support it but might take the fun out of finding the prettiest one because it might not have a good boost.

It's neat to think that weapons I've quit using because of one major flaw could be perfect for me if I boosted something like magazine size or accuracy. PvP players would have a field day with it. At any rate, stat boosts could give everyone a chance to customize how they play.

Also faction items should have your faction rep in the item preview screen instead of having to go back to the tower to see how much more xp you need.

I agree completely maybe not that many possibilities for stats but at least like one of the three attributes like intellect and stuff maybe legendary ones can give a little to two attributes so they're worth more

2 RespuestasIt would be cool if there was a cloak for hunters that would add +2 agility or increase invisibility duration or something like that, it would make sense. I'm sure they'll eventually get to something like this down the road.

1 RespuestaNice idea but wont work unless they make faction rep gains toggle able. Pretty dumb they take away one of the very few ways to customize your char by forcing you to wear faction marks.

2 RespuestasJust talking with my friends about it, raid bosses could drop a legendary class item that lets you equip an extra exotic. Maybe just a second exotic weapon, it seems like wearing two pieces of exotic armor would just be too powerful.
