Beat VoG - WTF?!?
Ok.. so it was half of our team's first time through VoG - the other half had made it once or twice... after two nights of 2-3 hours each we finally graped Atheon in the face.... What amazing loot would I receive? I couldn't wait!!!
A.-blam!-ING.SHADER?!?!?!? Really? are you kidding me???? a SHADER?!?! WTF bungie... really. WTF.

All I got the first two times through was the shader and materials.

1 RespuestaIf you don't enjoy the VoG then stop doing it, there may be three other Raids out by the time you complete a set of the gear. The point is not to complete a set, the point is to enjoy raiding, teamwork, community and benefit from Raid gear drops every now and then. This is what I tell myself every time I don't get the Tread of the Hezen.

I didn't get a single piece of raid gear until my 6th raid clear. I only got shader and a rifle the first 5 runs so quit crying. The 7th time I got a chest piece and boots, the 8th I got gauntlets. Your time will come.

3 RespuestasYea the drop rate can be low sometimes. Just make 2 more characters and play the vault 3 times on normal and 3 times on hard each week. Problem solved :)

And NOTHING but shards or energies for FIVE weeks! I'm sitting at nearly 90 shards and 73 energies, and my legendary gear is leveled, so I have nothing to use them on.

Its frustrating to see people getting stuff on their first run and everyone pass me up when I was 29 way before they were. I really think Bungie needs to address this. Who knows how long its going to take to get the other pieces I need so there are others out here in the same situation as you. It wouldn't be so bad if we could actually run the raid more than once a week which I don't understand since I am bored simply waiting around for the raid to reset anyways, might as well let me hit level 30 and be bored waiting around for DLC.

the first i got a shot gun and a shader second time a ship no shader third on hard raid helmet legendary sparrow and shader just keep doing it its a grind like everything else

You are going to always get shader, sparrow, or ship along with shards, energy, weapon, or armor. This is nothing new. I got like 5 or 6 Chatterwhites. Keep running it, you'll get something good.
