Grinding materials is ANNOYING
I understand why the grind for the material is needed. I get that materials are used for upgrades. It shouldn't be easy to get materials but [b]PLEASE[/b]. Put in a vendor or edit a current one to where we can buy materials. Relic iron, spinmetal, and spirit blooms. I'm sure a lot of people can [i]agree[/i] that relic iron and spirit blooms are the most annoying material to get.
This is just an idea. Obviously don't make the materials [i]cheap[/i] but make it reasonable.

Spirit blooms and iron relic are the easiest, look up chest farming videos you'll get done quickly

It's easy, I do material gathering and such while I'm working on bounties and running missions. You gotta learn how the system works. I can go on patrol, work on 3-4 separate bounties and pick up loot chests and materials galore. Easily get 100 in an hour or a little more. When you're running around the open world, you see groups of enemies gathered in an area, kill them, search their area for a chest, after awhile you'll start learning spawn points and can make quick loops in an area while you're on mission or patrol... I don't play much PvP but I pull down at least 40-50 marks a week turning in materials at the Crucible Quartermaster, with my leftovers after making my upgrades to weapons and gear... Gotta learn to play the game as it was intended. No offense but you're idea would make the game too easy and obviously Bungie is not trying to do that... Light I hope not!

Welcome to the world of RPG's. A long and annoying and boring process but well worth it when you max out that piece youve been working on. The experience is well worth the time this example right here is one of the vital organs in an rpg so get used to it.

3 RespuestasI'm gonna counter you on that. If you know where to look it's not that hard. My friends showed me where to find Relic Iron easily, and you litterally run into Spirit Blooms easily. Other than that, maybe put like 20 of each on sale with a new vendor for either glimmer, or marks. That or make the Salvage matchmaking to where it rewards you with materials every time a team captures a point. =/

1 RespuestaOnce you have enough kills on the planets for you grimore rank you will see much more material. I thought relic iron was scarce but now i can get 20 in 40 minutes or so doing patrol missions. Key is to get the grimore planet kills rank up

12 RespuestasGrinding materials means more people in free roam mode and more people in free roam mode means more epic public events. Teaming up to fulfill an objective on the go is one of the few similarities with a MMO this game has.. Wanna nerf that too?

4 RespuestasRelic Iron and Spirit Bloom are EXTREMELY easy to find. Helium is a close second. I have problems with spinmetal.

Don't farm resources farm chests. It will go way faster.

Destiny has the easiest grind ever, and you want mats to be easier to obtain!?! No thanks. That ruin this game and make it even easier than it already is.

I can see them miles away! :O Indeed, relic iron is a pain -.- I cant see any difference between iron relic and a normal rock v.v i keep missing them all the time. I consider farming a lil bit fun, sometimes. just doing the same route.

It does bother me that the end game basically boils down to collecting ascendant shards.

There should be more variety in collecting mats (running around finding them does get boring) Supposedly patrol mission gave mats otherwise it's broken. Adding new sets of bounties that reward mats would be nice too

Not hard if you find a good farm spot. Boring? Maybe a little, but you gotta go to work to get paid, lol.
