Is it so wrong that people want decent net code, bullet latency, and 60 fps out of their competitive shooters? Crucible is fun and all but never will it ever gain a competitive following because of its horrendous networking issues.
EDIT: I see a lot of the people commenting on this talking about how much they hate the community of squeakers blah blah blah. What I'm referring to if you read the DESCRIPTION not the HEADLINE, is the technical portion of this game. Net code, frame rate, etc.

I do not hate it, I just feel that battlefield is a lot better military simulation game
-
CoD is a perfectly fine game, but very similar to Madden in that for years they keep pumping out the same game with a bit of a face lift. Run around and shoot anything that moves (mostly in close quarters) gets boring after awhile.
-
Beacause this is the kind of game alot of people who hate cod play
-
3 RespuestasI have seen people spin around with a sniper rifle getting headshots. The aim assist is to damn good on CoD games. not to mention they are all PVP focused...sure they have a story but its crap
-
Because they know CoD is a game that is way way better for PvP than this god damn awful net code mess. They cling on to hope that Bungie raise this mess out of the gaming gutter , where at this moment it belongs.
-
All the cool people hate cod... Its the iphone of the gaming world.
-
I enjoyed some CoD and one of my favorite CoD games is CoD4 Modern Warfare 1. It is what introduced the successful perk and millstream elements, giving players a reason to keep playing the game without making it a chore. MW2, MW3 & Ghosts sucked in my personal opinion. Quickscoping is another thing that ruined the game for me too. It's okay to have someone who's mastered the Aim assist exploit for one shot kills but when a whole team is doing this and keep you pinned down while playing a domination match then it becomes an issue, then there are those who suck at using the exploit but just keep trying which leads to them doing nothing but wishing to connect a few shots for the crappy montage on YouTube. Never again will I buy a CoD game, sorry. It would take a huge improvement for me to change my mind.

I am actually liking the new AW its bringing me back to cod and its actually new
-
Many reasons why I hate COD, but the biggest reason is the fact it doesn't change. Sure there are little changes from one release to the next, but not enough to make it worth the cost of a full new game. The fact the game encourages camping rather than mobility. The incredibly obnoxious and offensive community is the final reason I hate COD. That is just my opinion though and I wont belittle anyone who feels differently.
-
i only hate COD and activision cause of their "COPY AND PASTE" method of making games. no thought ever goes into them. that is all
-
I dunno about better net code and bullet latency. I can't recall how many times I've killed a guy who just fired a rocket and the rocket poofs. Or firing back upon an attacker to get no hit markers. CoD this gen is pretty awful, catering to match hosts than anything.
-
Because all the CoD fanboys come over here to stir up trouble with all the Destiny fanboys. It's pretty annoying.
-
2 RespuestasAll of the CoD games look exactly the same as the last, save for a few minor differences here and there. It's akin to sports games, where they release a game annually.
-
10 RespuestasDestiny's netcode needs a lot of work. In all of my games combined: *I haven't traded as many kills as I have in Destiny. *I haven't had as many late hit or late kill registers as I have in Destiny. *I haven't received as many network error codes as I have in Destiny. I have decent internet. Open NAT, 50 down, 5 up, ~30ms ping with zero packet loss to the east coast and midwest Azure servers.

People hate on CoD everywhere, including the CoD forums.
-
Because call of duty has been the same game for 10years with different map packs and useless customizations. Cod4, mw2, and waw. We're the only good ones in my opinion.
-
I don't play call of duty because they just continue to recycle the same game year after year and it gets boring. I also could care less about PvP (which is 99% of the emphasis in any CoD game) and prefer a good story above all. That's why the mass effect games are my absolute favorite games of all time. Gameplay also takes a major part for me which is why I also really enjoy the dark souls games. The call of duty games offer pretty much the same gameplay with maybe one tiny addition for each game.
-
My biggest issue with CoD is people/marketing referring to it as tactical. It is a so-so arena shooter. People can prefer it if they want, it's what ever they enjoy and doesn't effect me and my games of choice. I've played 2-3 titles of the series and it is what it is. I bought them to play with friends and had fun but never invested over 20 hours in any specific entry to the series. Just not my cup of tea.
-
It looks bad. The jumpy ugly movements in the game play. And after the last 3 versions they made I don't think they will fix the lag. And we know they left in the quick scope that right there is enough to not get the game.
-
COD and Halo have always been big rivals in a sense. Since most people here are Halo fans, many don't really like COD. Me I don't care, game wars are silly.
-
5 Respuestaswho knows..crazy nerds and geeky franchise fanboys...bit like religion i suppose...they have the need to defend their choice! Destiny is ok if it was released 10 years ago it would be amazing. does nothing COD, HALO, Borderlands hasn't already done before
-
1 RespuestaThe majority of CoD hate (like most things) is because its popular. People who actually played the franchise might have an actual thing or two to hate it for. But most haters are full of hot air.
-
I'm not a fan of competitive shooters, I play Destiny for it's pve content. I could care less if someone else enjoys the franchise. Just not my cup of tea.
-
There's a rather large generalization of CoD players. Not all are demon possessed children with uncontrollable rage and the use of language you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. I played Modern Warfare 2 and thoroughly enjoyed it. It just seems like each game is extremely similar to the last and the players that fit the stereotype are a real downer when playing the game. I think most people generalize and hate these gamers because they those that enforce that stereotype do pop up quite often.
