Agreed.
Making everyone equal is a total socialist mentality.
Capitalistic ideology is what this country (USA) was founded on. If you work hard for something, you deserve it.
Socialists believe that no one should have more than anyone else, and that everyone is equal.

No one is a winner, when everyone "wins".
I agree, the under-18 age group is really brainwashed by the whole "everyone is equal" mentality.
Just look at the trophies they give kids these days just for participating, even if they were the worst individual, the worst team player, and didn't contribute ANYTHING, they still get a damn trophy.

Socialism supports having free or as cheap as possible of an education that is accessible for everyone. The same goes for health care, mental health care, etc. Sweden, Finland and other Nordic countries are the best examples of Socialism today.

I AM NOT A RACIST! Just look at yourself for a moment. You're doing exactly what I said liberals do. Our nation wasn't founded on racism. We held slaves as a way to bolster the south's cotton driven economy. It was a big mistake on their part. And as such, we developed a racist outlook. We made these human beings property and as a result we viewed ourselves as somehow higher, more human. I don't support the social situation of early America. But, defending my nation's principles is wrong?

It's true. Why did we have slaves? For the hell of it? NO! We held slaves to simply aid in a farming based economy. Racism developed as a result of removing the whole "these are human beings" concept and branding them as "property." I don't like slavery. You're starting to troll me... Yes. I know... I never said slavery was a good thing. It's bad. We did bad things in the past as a nation, yes, but saying that we founded this country on racism... Well. It's pretty stupid. Americans had slaves and many were racist, but our principles never changed. They were Judeo-Christian in nature and sure enough those values can be credited with eventually destroying racism and slavery. We were founded upon certain principles, not a specific social view. Northerners held little animosity towards African Americans anyway. That makes just about half our early population. Abolition itself was a product of "all men are created equal." Besides, those slaves that helped build this country, were they racist? NO! Don't discredit them, they had a part in this nation's founding. So how could we be "founded" on racism? If you consider America founded on racism, why not look at your Democratic Party's past. RACIST. You realize that your party consisted of racists from the beginning. And it still is. You use racial tension to further your own political goals. Divide and conquer. The Democratic Party has had a choke hold on the black community for quite some time. You stir racial tension and claim to be on the side of the community, but when it comes down to it' you're just there to harvest the votes. Just look at Ferguson! As tragic as it may be, no one knows what the hell happened and you all had Eric Holder and Sharpton down there stirring up protests and hatred towards a man that most likely defended himself against an attacker. I'm from this generation and I blame this generation for a lot of things... It's a fact, that we are, for the most part, handed everything. We're kept in line by being told that it has always been like this. So, I wouldn't necessarily blame just us, but the past few generations have caused our national decline.
