[b]Here is a list of all the legendary and exotic gear I've earned so far in the game, having reached level 28: None![/b] I literally [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/72764198/0/0]never[/url] get good gear. [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/72764198/0/0][b]I have played every day since day one, and [i]never [/i]earned any gear other than blue and green trash. Not even one item of legendary or exotic weapon or armour. Not one![/b][/url] ALL of my gear is charity items purchased from vendors. [b]For comparison, here is a list of the gear my co-op buddy has got, having reached level 28 and played the same games as me -- he routinely gets good gear while I literally never get anything:[/b] Exotic weapons: Hard Light (assault rifle) Ice Breaker (sniper rifle) Exotic bounty not yet started, because no need (cannot recall which) Others (I cannot recall) Legendary weapons: Final Boss (sniper rifle) The Comedian (shotgun) -- yeah, he's definitely laughing, at me! Cryptic Dragon (scout rifle) Red Hand IX (hand cannon) Grim Citizen III (assault rifle) Super Pox CLO (pulse rifle) Epitaph 2261 (sniper rifle) Invisible Hand M7 SG (shotgun) 77 Wizard (fusion rifle) Exodus Plan RS/1 (rockets) Others (I cannot recall) Legendary armor Monitor Type 2 (helmet) Monitor Type 2 (chest) Nerigal Savant II (leg) Others (too many to remember) I'd be happy with ONE item from this list, but I have NOTHING. He also gets numerous Titan marks, and countless nice items from opening chests, including big stacks of ascendant materials, and big stacks of harvestable materials, and countless ships (Fangs of Nyx, etc) and other nice stuff. I have never had anything from a chest other than green trash gear from chests, and up to 25 glimmer and a maximum of 2 harvestable items. [b]CONCLUSION: RNG GLITCH![/b] Until yesterday. Yesterday, we started nightfall with him AFK for 5 minutes, and by the time he picked up his controller he had a legendary engram which became yet another legendary weapon. I have only ever had two legendary engrams. One turned into blue trash pre patch. The other, yesterday, turned into a hunter cloak when I do not have a hunter and that item dismantled into class trash materials that I cannot use. Yesterday, I did finally get Invective for completing that one specific exotic bounty. But [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/73125415/0/0/1]Bungie has nerfed Invective, the one and only exotic weapon I have ever earned[/url] -- my one and only really good weapon, and one of only two weapons other than raid exclusives which require a degree of skill to obtain. [b]CONCLUSION: ONGOING RNG GLITCH![/b] EDIT: Destiny's so-called RNG is not RNG. Not that Bungie ever claimed it was. There is weighting,. I believe the weighting is flawed, but it could also be deliberate to serve some purpose I'm not aware of. People can stop calling it RNG now. I;m sharing this fact with the community. Take it or leave it. But be aware that this game is severely unbalanced and a character's "luck" is certainly not as random as players think.
